Couple little hints for the boss if anyone wants to know..
Dragon shield can block the small fire balls perfectly.
Using the spectacles of truth you can watch the Flight path Varalys uses. also make sure you take time to hunt down the stones in the graveyard, Volcano, and final castle areas. those make the fight a lot easier as well. Love this game myself and still play it every now and then^^. For a classical 3d rpg game.. this one is honestly among the best in my opinion. Mad Dragon FTW!
Well I have only played and beaten the game on easy..Id play other difficulties if my satursn memory wasn't dead.. >.> Im really good easy game wise..I learned if you are willing to do alot of running you can Skip alot of areas^^ lol.

Well it does on my copy.. plus its alot safer to guard while turnign so that you cna block whatever attack hes about to throw at you. Only problem with eh easy strategy I pointed out is.. it hurts the eyes.. too much red.. you might need to take breaks and look at other colors before you get a migrain^^. then again my game is glitched as it has an odd error when then last cutscene starts.. If your armed, Guard gives a faster turn than not guarding on my copy anyway^^
@mrdante361 huh? dude where did I show any disrespect? I love this game! I still see it as one of the best 3d rpg games around and when I can, I play this for hours! Unless you meant my comment about the Mad Dragon, who is a Boss in the game. Mad dragon is a 3 headed dragon who lives in the volcano ^_^

Hard is where the game is at. I love exploring the world. Seriously get that new battery!
