Dan Osman didn't die from a climbing fall..Dan Osman died November 23, 1998 at the age of 35 after his rope failed while performing a "controlled free-fall" jump from the Leaning Tower rock formation in Yosemite National Park.
Dan Osman did die of a climbing fall a number of years ago but not free soloing. It is very impressive to watch someone climb like this. Most of us take an hour or two to climb that route roped in with all kinds of pro. Dan was a phenom.
