In 2006 I bought a brand new Pt Cruiser. We only drove it when going out of town, the rest of the time it was parked in an enclosed garage. It was a pretty car, low milege, still had the plastic floor mats when it caugh on fire in 2008 due to factory faulty wiring!! Do you think Chrysler stood behind their product? NO, they did not, they didn't even offer us a rebate for a down payment. and the insurance paid off all but 500.00 of the note.. we were out a car and money, Chrysler Sucks!
@PentastarVideo You need to do it. But make it premium. Everyone is about to do (or already doing) a premium, fuel-efficient compact - you know that. The other "retros" (Mini, New Beetle) aren't going anywhere either, so there's a market. Do it right, make it good, no cost cutting! Let the base models go to a Dodge variant. High MPG......Fiat platform/engine, whatever. Watching Chrysler's future closely as I have been for nearly 20 years.
Damnit, what a great car. Sad to see her go. Thanks MOPAR for such a good long lived car. Miss my 2001 but my 2008 is a keeper. What can Fiat do to replace such an icon?

Hi folks. Regarding any replacement, we have to give you the "can't talk about future products" answer. But the interest is always appreciated.
