To be fair every party is guilty of the vitriol in the House of Commons but this display by the Liberals was the worst one that I had ever seen.

My theory is that the Speaker wanted to let them go on so they would be shamed into better behaviour after the video was played on the news every night for a week.

1. There is no rule forbidding quoting a newspaper in the HOC. Every party has done it. The Liberals had a carefully scripted and choreographed response to what they knew Harper was going to say. Their behaviour is indefensible.

2. I didn't say the Liberals are at 12% - they're just barely above double that. Dion is at 12%.

There are many reasons why CP has ONLY 33% of the votes. Let me do the calculation, well this means 67% of the Canadians do not approve of their policies and are more towards left on the issues. That is a very large majority. Wouldn't you say?
