One of the most amazing things I've found about that fox is that even though he's called Honest John in this film in some book versions of this movie I had as a kid he was not called Honest John but Foulfellow. In one book I read he said Foulfellow was his real name but Honest John was his nickname. What a lot of name turn arounds! :)

@CHCHuser I don't think there's a primary villain in this film like Jafar, Scar, Gaston, Captain Hook etc, but I think the main villain is the Coachman. Honest John just lures Pinocchio into danger, not actually causes it. He is still a villain, though.

I think at around 3:00 it proves that Honest John isnt completly bad and not the villain of the film. Yeah theyre trying to scam him over,but a real villain would just stuff Pinocchio in a bag and haul him to Stromboli than trying to calm him down when he sees Jimminy.
