Wow! Havent seen that tv code seal in a long time. Back then they were proud to display it, but it died out sometime after the early 80's. Now its all about the almighty dollar and sex and Immorality sells!

I was born in Tulsa in 63 and lived there until I was seven. I remember Cy Tuma doing the news on channel 8. I guess a lot of people didn't know he was in a wheel chair (Polio, I think) as they only ever saw him behind the anchor desk. I heard he had also been a country singer in the 40s or 50s.

I remember this. I used to get KTUL on our cable TV. It was a different time. Stations actually signed off the air. On occasion I signed off a radio station in Arkansas City,Kansas.
