I love the song that plays at 0:15 when Tenchi is looking inside Washu's old room and when he is taking a bath. It just gives me this magical nostalgic feeling and puts me directly in his position where all the people he misses are on different planets, and "different worlds" and he misses them but can't do anything about it.

It makes me feel like I travelled to a different world and them came back to the real world and I miss all the people I met yet I can't do a thing bout it. :-)

Am I the only one who has a theory that Ryoko is actually dead and Tenchi just went crazy? I mean, the theory is kinda disproved when it shows Ayeka and Sasami, but ignoring that, Tenchi could have been hallucinating Ryoko...I kind of prefer it that way. But that's just me. And I like crazy.

Tenchi Universe will forever be my favorite anime of all time. I haven't seen this since i was a kid. But its just like Ryoko said to Tenchi. If u wait for a while, it will always come back to you. The tings you enjoy the most are forever with you. BEST ANIME EVER

It's kinda depressing that in all the various series and movies in Tenchi Muyo, I think this is the only scene where Tenchi actually hugs Ryoko out of his own free will and welcomes her showing him any kind of affection... not counting scenes where he simply holds her because she's injured.

I wish the series would have continued and shown tenchi settling down with one of the girls from the house. Ryoko hands down was the girl he chose in the end but it would have been nice to see a little more than they showed us but they left us hanging at the end.

Amazing ending. It made sense that Tenchi's pick would have to come down to Aeyka or Ryoko. There's an appeal to each, Aeyka's the graceful girl with her noble charm, while Ryoko's the random off the wall girl who has more of the ruthless qualities to her. I'm glad Tenchi ended with Ryoko, I'm a little biased myself, I just think Ryoko would be much more fun. ; )

He didn't choose Ryoko. He never chooses any of them. The ending merely shows that everyone is coming back to him. The reason why they used Ryoko first was to give us the happiness that she didn't die in Episode 24.
