@GerbilEssences The noise is very un-Olympus - the camera is very light and it balances well with the winder (which is solid metal) but ye gods its loud. Sounds well 'ard, though.
@AshleyMarkPomeroy How old is this Om? I'm using my dads which is a good 30 years old (about 20 years occasional use), still works great, all she needed was some drycell batteries.
Wow that's loud! I suppose it beats waiting for the hand to cock the shutter lever during crucial events. Must weigh a lot though?

@GerbilEssences Dunno - probably very early 1980s (1980, for example). There's probably a date code somewhere.
