Im a bit surprised greg didn't go into the obvious, "what if someone didn't want to be on life support" or "there is no point for someone to be on life support" I.E. Someone signed a living will that said "after X months on life support I want the plug pulled" or they had a brain injury and there was virtually zero - zero chance of them waking up.

That's a great take on it, everyone agrees that mothers hade an obligation to the care of their children, and by calling the mothers uterus life support the person has already made equals of the inborn and the rest of us, thereby taking away his only avenue for retreat.

Abortion is nothing like removing life support... shooting the mother in the head would be like "removing life support", abortion is like pouring petrol on a helpless person on life support and setting them on fire.

Yes it is quite different. Removing "life support" ends the life of one. My mother was raped and tried to abort me. If she had been successful then my children wouldn't be here thus impacting 3 lives and their successive offspring, impacting many, many generations.
