In the sequence you start at about 1:40, you can get six 1-ups rather than the two you settle for. It's quite easy but requires a little patience; the idea is to hit the P switch with all the spinies still alive. This can be accomplished by waiting for both the top of the lower platform and the bottom of the upper one to be clear, slowly walking through following this safe spot, then jumping up to the upper platform when you reach the end).

For me, my favorite Mario worlds are the ones with forestry and the original Mushroom Kingdom landscape. I'm not too fond of worlds with deserts and ice, not a lot of colors and really annoying obstacles (tornadoes, or slippery floors).

Ah you forget the fact that the reviewers there also play other consoles and mostly earlier generation consoles, too. They are more capable of giving good/fair review scores cuz they are able to compare them to other games they've played. People who only own playstation or xbox consoles and have not "really" played a nintendo console imo have a different view on the nintendo games cuz they're used to that kind.

And let's see, uncharted 2 you say? I can't deny the awesomeness of that game, but I can say that very respected gamesites reviewed that one with a lower score than mario galaxy(GT: 9.3 - 9.8). I do think that says something. Those guys know what they're doing, ps3 fanboys don't. They just hate every game in which you don't kill people. Now that's cool.

Ayyy that's a very negative take on the worldwide known and loved classic Mario-franchise. About the improvements made: c4urself, I mean c'mon, aside from the obvious graphical improvements there is a huge leap in gameplay-terms. now about mario I know that it may seem to be the same gameplay as alway, but you must keep in mind that the controller is a wiimote and just by that it ad some new feeling to it. next is the fact that you can now play with up to 4 people on the same screen (which isn't showed here) and that it can be done upon 2 mode, a mode coop where you must help each other and a mode rival where you compete to see who get the best score. Of course there is the nostalgia aura about it and the is what the...

pfff... uncharted doesn't have any innovativenes like you say, yes it have a great storyline and great graphics, but that's all. for the gameplay it only took things that had already been used in other games like prince of persia, plus as far as I know it doesn't have any multiplayer worth mentioning and it has no replay value, since once you've finished the game you must always make the same actions again and again without possibilities to do otherwise
