As a member of the "Save Taylor Point" group, I would like to say, we don't care if you call Taylor Point, Taylors or Taylors Point (many locals do). The fact remains it is a beautiful place and as Shakespear wrote, "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Pleased to see that you got to enjoy a lazy Sunday morning here. Everyone loves Taylor Point. We hope it will continue to be enjoyed by future generations :)
Get the name right. There is no Taylors Point here at, or near, Trinity Beach. It's called Taylor Point. We need to save Taylor Point from development. An appeal by the developer against CRC's refusal to approve development at Taylor Point is to be heard in the Planning and Environment Court in Feb 2012. We need to raise $10,000 from the community for the cost of expert witnesses etc. See "Save Taylor Point" on facebook for more details.
