With all due respect, that's a really stupid comment. It would suck to buy the same game just with new features. And before somebody tries to pull the "THAT'S WHAT HALO 3 IS THOUGH!!!", no it isn't. Halo 3 improved Halo 2 on so many levels gameplay wise. And I'm willing to bet that the reason so many people say "Halo 2 was better than Halo 3 is because they never gave Halo 3 much of a chance just because Halo 3 changed the beloved game they'd spent so much time playing and getting good at.

Though Halo 2 was an amazing game I'll have to disagree with that. Halo 3 took what Halo 2 had and built up on it in so many ways. Online was made better, even in subtle ways, gameplay was created to be more competitive and fluent and creativity was given a chance through forge and the theater.

Halo 2 catered to the individual skill level of players with its aspects such as being able to BxR and double shot, meaning it was NOT easy for "noobs" because they lacked the knowledge and technique to compete at high levels. H3, however, with its beatdown trading system and random burst BR is much easier to pick up than H2. One of the reasons players were so dissatisfied with H3 is because it lacked the skill gap.
