Ok after seeing all these comments i see i need to defend this vid... This song is THE SAME as the movie one, you're just used to the extra noises that were made by the ewoks (ex: beating on drums, helmets, etc..) This version is the RAW VERSION without all the people in the background and the ewoks doin there thing. This song was recorded into the movie WHILE THE MOVIE WAS BEING SHOT, they didnt edit it in after words. If you want the ver you heard in movie then rip it from the movie itself.

So. The Ewoks captured other intelligent, walking-and-talking beings and were going to kill them and eat them. They stopped only because they were tricked into thinking C3PO was a god. Using this religious belief, they were made to kill and die in a war that wasn't theirs, against an enemy that was doing them no harm. Then they cheer after the killing because they think their god will reward them in the afterlife. And we are supposed to think all of this is cute?

has nothing to do with god rewarding them. i think that "god" is a bit of an exaggeration of their opinion of 3PO, and they seem to catch on to what a dork he is after a while. in the novelization they had a decent understanding of the empire after 3PO explained and decided to help only after wicket gave a speech. they did suffer a lilttle bit under the empire too, which basically regarded them as animals.
