  • ok so this is weird but it looks like food

  • dose it mealt like real ice

  • the dry thing can be reused ( talking about the mixture)?

  • I looks eatable

  • @wakka247 yeah and edible too!

  • im pretty sure thats wax...

  • @EvilMeal no its the same stuff as in heating packs, it solidifies and produces heat

  • its a dildo

  • will it melt

  • could you reuse this stuff?

  • if you want to make another hot ice sculpture just put it in a hot prying pan ;)

  • ice cream !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Ali705100 its not ice cream ;\

    its HOT ICE. :P

  • dumbass not culture!! it SCULPTURE !! GET SOME GOGGLES!!

  • how long do those last?

  • Comment removed

  • i wanna lick it!!

  • is it really cold ??

  • @tobby2468 i dont think so cuz its hot ice its not normal ice

  • bullshit. that is not culture. noob

  • @Dravvaz He said SCULPTURE.... Dumbass...

  • @Dravvaz LOL you dumbass he said sculpture not culture ! :)) =))

  • SODIUM ACETATE

  • i would love to live in an orange world, i am so jelous

  • How do you get your hand on these materials?

Where can I get some? and is it expensive?

  • Dude, how much weed have you smoked before making this video haha! Awesome!

  • copy and paste

    2. send this to 2 other videos.

    3. hold your breath for 10 seconds.

    4. press refresh twice.

    3. LOOK AT YOUR HANDS

  • @killersasuke1234

    1. copy and paste to spammers

    2. get a knife

    3. take a deep breath

    4.cut off your fingers

    5. LOOK AT YOUR HANDS

  • dats BEASTLY !!!!!! u can add food coloring 2 right???? is it even edible??

  • @XOxoGiRLLuV Its edible, its not toxic. Its discusting though

  • @palaceman555 you spelled disgusting wrong hahahahaha xDDD

  • Next time put the hot ice in a glass cup/ container, so if it freezes in the cup you can just stick the cup in boiling water instead of scraping it all out of a plastic cup and into a pan.

  • @IKameAndKilled just put it in the microwave and it should melt again

  • it's very orange, you know x'D

  • you knoe that if u melt it you can use it again rigth ?

  • add food cooler to the mixes... then make a sculpture... make new mixes... different color ones

  • looks like crack...

  • try snorting it

  • good idea...

  • lol i like that you called it ice-9. vonnegut reference?

  • todo joto el wey

  • what would happen if u add food coloring?

  • it will blow up !!!

  • It would look way fucking cooler

  • Most likely will have a chemical reaction, or just what mostly everything does, change colour.

  • @78socko78

    idk you should try it

  • @78socko78 it will have color silly

  • @78socko78 - it would probably disturb the solution and cause it to solidify

  • It wont hurt you to eat it , its one of the main ingredients in S&V chips ..

  • @lalapuff1 it wont but i heard its nasty as hell

  • so it stays like that

  • Is it edible?

  • yes i is eddile

  • Comment removed

  • @rotarnah only if you are retarded enough to drink nail polish remover with sodium in it

  • @rotarnah that'd be fun

  • @rotarnah you can but tastes horrible

  • @rotarnah uh no u can't

  • @realfoolhouse why?

  • @rotarnah SURE U CAN

  • @rotarnah sodium acetate is used as seasoning for food such as salt and vinegar chips, so therefore it is about as safe (possibly even safer) to eat than common table salt. Although if you do something stupid like break off a giant piece and suck on it, just like with salt that will most likely create temporary health problems from eating too much sodium.

  • @rotarnah no you will get very sick.

  • @rotarnah You can eat it.... It's vinegar and calcium Bicarbonate

  • @NurdChaos I think you mean vinegar and sodiumcarbonate (molecular formula: Na2CO3 with the indexs being subscripts). Its the Sodium and Acetate in the supersaturated solution that crystalize when they can come accross and attach to an impurity or another crystal.

@Jperales96 Yes, you can reuse it. Just dissolve it again. However, do make sure to do it on a high temperature and make the solution saturated at that high temperature. When the solution is cooled down, you can do the same trick

  • @WasabiHapper Actually no, When the vinegar and the Baking soda (Calcium Bicarbonate) mix, it makes sodium acetate trihydrate... When you boil it down it make the supersaturated sodium acetate trihydrate

  • @NurdChaos Ah, Ok, so where do you reckon the sodium comes from? As the name already shows, its got something to do with sodium (soda). Google it.

Or wasnt that what you meant?

thnx for the info btw, didnt know about the hydration.

  • @WasabiHapper Wehn the calcium reacts with the calcium Bicarbonate it makes sodium

  • @NurdChaos What??? No, that just doesn't make sense at all. Sodium is an element itself. It's not created by some kind of reaction between other types of elements and/or molecules consisting of other elements. You'd need sodiumhydrogencarbonate to get sodium ions.

  • @WasabiHapper Ha, you don't even know how stupid I feel right now... I was thinking of calcium acetate, calcium is a substitute for sodium.... sorry for being such an idiot...

  • @NurdChaos :) No problem. No mistake is ever stupid, it's just a case of not being aware.

  • it's sodium acetate, you shouldn't eat it...it stays solid.

you find this in handwarmers you use in winter...

  • ya but you'll never take the patience to make the hot ice.

  • can u eat it??

  • does the hot ice melts?

  • Comment removed

  • if you boil it it does

  • By the way I love you moms voice!

  • You are awsome man! Really some nice talent you got! :D

  • I KNOW:D

  • dude you know you can melt it and reuse as many times as you want! your welcome

  • are you serious? that is awesome.

  • cool

  • no dry ice terns into a gas! hot ice you need to boil it to melt it and you can keep doing that for as long as you want is really cool XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD no seriously you can just keep melting it and tgen reuse it its so cool i love is XD

  • lol does dry ice melt???????????????

  • yes.

  • Dry ice doesn't melt, it goes straight from solid form to gas form. And that's not dry ice, it's sodium acetate.

  • he didnt say dry ice its hot ice

  • well in normal conditions it would sublime, but it should be possible for it to melt given the right condition...

  • hi i'm going to do this for a chemistry demonstration. can you tell me wad's the equation for the crystallization of sodium acetate?

    thanks :D

  • would it melt

  • yeah, i want to know how long it lasts.

  • looks like cocaine or crack or something lol.

  • Ice-9 sculpture - Haha!

    So it goes.

  • Donny Hoyle?!

  • lol i did that for a science project hahhaha i got a B- cause it got frozen in my cup :(

  • You can make Sodium Acetate with Baking Soda And Vinegar.

  • i did this for science... i got a A :D its cool

  • wow congratulations man

  • were can i get sodium acetate?!?!?!?!?!??

  • They probably sell it online.

  • you can make it with baking soda and vinegar search it on here

  • i know that but u gotta mix it and then cook it and then its a whole giant mess...

  • I believe Hardvard is the best institute for pornographic related jobs. Well, it's not what I believe, but what I am guessing =D

  • Looks more like a pillar of salt...

  • Sodium acetate is a salt, so you are correct

  • cool

  • JESUS LIKES THIS

  • can it be melted then reused?

  • Well, if you put your sculpture into a pan of hot water and re-dissolve it you can continue to have fun with it. I am uncertain what effect impurities would have though (for example, re-crystalization once the solution is cool enough).

  • U CAN REUSE ITT! ?

  • YES!

  • you go to hardvard? whats that the retard version of harverd? go get a education you dumb shit and if you try and tell a lye make sure your telling it right dumbshit ONLY SMART PEOPLE GO TO HARVERD. ps. nice vid

  • Can you reuse the stuff? PLZ RESPOND!

  • no ww can't, when it's freeze, it stay freeze 4eva

  • you cant melt? like regular ice?

  • I dont think it melts, therefore you probably cant reuse it

  • Yes, just heat it up, cool it down, good as new.

  • where do you get the solution??? Or how do you make it???

  • hardvard?

    D:

  • it looks like a marshmellow sculpture it looks tasty

  • can you made it go down like it got attack

  • i love sodiam acitate its so cool also suppercooled water

  • Were the ingredients to make that expensive or hard to find?

  • no all u need is baking soda and white vinegar

  • Wrong... its called... sodium ac..fuck somthing like that.

  • Its physically impossible for that. baking soda and vineger have a chemical reaction. this is sodium acitate.

  • Baking soda and vinegar produces sodium acetate and carbonic acid (which decomposes to form carbon dioxide and water). Balance the equation:

    NaHCO3 + HCH3COO => NaCH3COO + H2CO3

    H2CO3 => H2O + CO2

    Net equation:

    NaHCO3 + HCH3COO => NaCH3COO + H2O + CO2

Sodium bicarbonate + acetic acid => Sodium acetate, water, and carbon dioxide.

  • stfu

  • Sodium acetate trihydrate (sodium acetate with water) can be melted and cooled down without crystallizing. The solution is what you see here.

  • the pan in 1:08 looks like crack lol

  • First of all, no it doesn't. Second, how would you know? TV I am guessing?

  • is da ice hot or just not cold?

  • How long do hot ice sculptures last???

  • As you were panning around, I thought I saw an image of Jesus in your sculpture. hehehe.

  • aww thats cool where did you get your stuff that you got. some other dude said it was in heat packets you put in your gloves? where did you get yours?

  • look like u was making crack lol

  • very impresive

  • used to make siger glass

  • if you're gonna try this i would recommend putting the sodium acetate in an erlenmeyer flask (or something similiar), and then put the erlenmeyer into boiling water..

  • what is you drink it? just wondering, lol

  • if you drink it you would probably have sum really bad side effects

  • It would harden in your throat.

  • i thought you were supposed to use a double boiler for reusing

  • his mom is gonna be so pissed when she comes home and sees wat he did to her pots lol

  • your a big hairy fag

  • i was making one to but it melted cause i was in an oven

  • you were IN an oven ??

  • is it cold?

  • does it melt???????

  • sorry i didnt watch the whole thing... =P thats kool

  • wut happens wen it melt can u reuse it

  • dissolved*

  • Sodium acetate dissovled in water and then cooled

  • yellow snow

  • can i use salt?

  • no you need a special sodium thing not regular salt

  • is it real ice

  • cool.

  • can you melt it then use it again????

    or burn it?

  • can i make a bong out of hot ice?

  • damn man you are so brite .seriously try to and make a vid i would like to see it! really !

  • what is the name of your art?

  • cool vid, irritating voice

  • you can just melt it back down again?

  • Yes. if you boil it in a container, then put it in the frige, you can do it OVER & oVER& oVER again!

  • see, i bought some of it, but it didnt work.

how much sodium acetate do we need? and how much water, i had bought 100 grams of it. but i guess it wasn't nearly enough.

  • HOLY SHIT

  • u said make anotheir vid but make one very very tall! that would be so cool!
