  • That is really really pretty amazing! I am amazed there s even chinese well done!! Although there is a lil just a little words that have the wrong intonation due to grammatical rules.. STILL AWESOME!!!! it would be cool if you wouldnt mind including cantonese too!!

  • Fabulous!

  • We gotta hand it to this girl. Her flawless pronunciation, intonation and all! BRAVO

congratulatuins. It's pretty rare poeple speak so many languages. It's heard some of them are not your mothertongues, yet you still owe ovations.

  • it is just more than amazing may god bless you !!

  • really awesome !!! i just wish more languages are added... atleast Aramaic/Hebrew, the language Jesus Himself spoke ....

  • Nice Job, thanks. :)

can you please tell me what is most first words?

is that The Lord's prayer? witch language?

  • I love how Japanese uses "chichi" without any honorifics. Chichi is a child's way of saying "daddy", they usually stop using it before they're even nine years old.

  • I'd like to know where are you from???, because I think you did an amazing job in most languages...I don't speak some of these, so I wouldn't how good you did in them, but yuo're awesome!!!

  • I think Tolkien would be proud. Brava!

  • Wow, this girl deserves some praise. That was awesome! So what if a couple of languages were off a bit, how many people can spout that many distinctly different phonetic pernounciations without stuttering at all? Romance, Germanic, Sinitic, and freaking Elvish! That's worth applause, bravo!

  • 4:46 the gay woman

  • @locoawise hahaha thats hilarious!

Wow, your chinese is very good!

  • wow your german is really awesome :) great job!

Salu2

I'm a spanish speaker and I perceived that your spanish pronunciation is very deficent. Also, I speak a few of german because I have family in Germany, and let me say you that you pronunciation is too good! I know too the english and I congratulate you.

  • I am a native German. So let me tell you that your German is absolutely amazing. Your French and Italian is also pretty good as far as I can tell.

Surprisingly, though you're apparently British, your English sounds totally awkward (not the old one), like nothing I've ever heard before.

I guess all these languages had a huge impact on your mother tongue. ;)

  • Amazing :)

  • in Alemannic (bernese dialect) Üse Vater im Himu. Di Name söu gheiligt wärde. Dis Rych söu cho. Di Wiue söu gscheh, hie uf Ärde wi o im Himu. Gib is üses tägleche Brot o hüt. U vergib is üsi Schuud, wi mir o vergäh. U füer is nid i Versuechig, sondern erlös is vom Übu. Wiu es isch dis Rych u dini Chraft u Herrlechkeit ir Ewigkeit. Amen.
  • The Spanish accent was good, but you should work on it a little more to perfect it. And the French was really well done. Great job!

    Hope you like it :)

  • so...what's your native language?? even though i only speak 4 languages of these 13, i think you did an awesome job in all of them...

  • Comment removed

  • give the girl a break! i think she did a great job speaking in more than 10 different languages. if you can sit there chattin about her not saying things correctly, you make a video saying the Our Father 13 different languages. if you do not like the video, look at the top right hand corner you will see a red button and click on it. nobody is forcin you to watch this...

  • Wow, this is amazing! I wouldn't know about the others, but the french and german sounds amazing for a foreigner. You're talented :)

  • im spanish and uhhh...nice try but i noticed your prenousiation of the words sounded a little weird. then i saw one of the pieces were it had the prayer writen. that was why -.- it had the wrong letters! its not dexes it "dejes"

god bless you! this video is cool!!! love the quenya version ^^

  • Portugues version:

Amen.

  • @skipperry14

You are correct in saying that the Latin 'v' is not pronounced as in English, but the sound it represents is the 'w' sound, and not the 'y' sound. The 'c' should be pronounced like a 'k' and the 'g' hard as in 'go'. However, the way that she pronounces it is fine. I understood her without any problem. It is more correct to pronounce it like a 'v' than to pronounce it like a 'y'. A 'y' pronunciation is completely incorrect.

  • You pronounced "la règne" it's "le". "Aujourd'hui" sounded funny too. And in French, most of the time, the stress is on the last syllable. tenTAtion xD Overall its better than most foreigners.

  • DAMN GIRL!!!!!

  • The Lord's Prayer in Irish if you don't have it already... Ár n-Athair Ár n-Athair atá ar neamh, Go naofar d'ainim, Go dtagfadh do ríocht, Go ndéantar do thoil ar an talamh mar a dhéantar ar neamh. Ár n-arán laethúil tabhair dúinn inniu, agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha mar a mhaithimidne dár bhféichiúna féin (Ach ná lig sinn i gcathú, ach saor sinn ó olc,)

  • so....where are you from?

  • Do norwegian

  • Work on the Latin version. You do not pronounce the v's like English speakers do. Instead, you pronounce them like a "y" sound.

  • You are doing pretty well in Chinese!

  • Wow, that's awesome...I only speak a few of the languages you spoke, and I'm very impressed. Great job. :)

  • Thank U

  • WOW you are stunningly talented. I navigated to this from your Beowulf video which is also amazing. Thanks for recording and posting these.

  • I'm not polish, but i gor the polish version from a friend:

Ojcze nasz, któryś jest w niebiesiech, święć się Imię Twoje,

    przyjdź królestwo Twoje,

bądź wola Twoja, jako w niebie tak i na ziemi,

chleba naszego powszedniego daj nam dzisiaj,

i odpuść nam nasze winy, jako i my odpuszczamy naszym winowajcom,

Amen
  • Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
  • PATER NOSTER OUR FATHER Pater noster qui es in coelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum; adveniat regnum tuum, fiat voluntas tua, sicut in coelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. et ne nos inducas in tentationem sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
  • did you say father in the beginning of the spanish version. It sounded like it. There is no father in spanish, the translation is padre for this purpose, or papa for a less formal purpose. and is would be Nuestro padre, not padre nuestro.

  • @zthompson2350 you're wrong, buddy, it is padre nuestro...

  • @gterrazas09 I happen to be quite fluent in spanish. Nuestro comes first. Nuestra casa, nuestro perro, etc.

  • @zthompson2350 i'm mexican....spanish is my mother tongue...it IS padre nuestro...., but excluding from the prayer ''nuestro'' always comes first....i think that the order is reversed in the prayer to give it a more dramatic effect...

  • greaat!!!

  • I'm very much impressed!!

  • Thank you for posting this.......I love to have the chance to hear all the different sounds of the prayer.

  • I want to write Pater imon from my mind with no help of the text) If i have some mistakes please, correct them: Pater Imon o en tis yranis Agiasfito to onoma sy eltato i vasilia sy gennetito to telima sy os en yrano ke epi tis gis Ton arton imon ton epiusion dos imin simeron Ke afes imin ta ofeilimata imon Os ke imis afekamen Tis ofilties imon Ke mi isenenkis imas is pirasmon Alla risse imas apo to poniry It took me almost 3 weeks to learn it by heart - i used mp3, it was read by Greek monk.
  • @IbrownrussianbearI Your pronounciation is more or less correct, with a few changes: uranis NOT yranis, Agiasthito NOT Agiasfito, su NOT sy, eltheto NOT eltato, gennithito NOT gennetito, thelima NOT telima, afiemen NOT afekamen, ofiletes NOT ofiilties, tu poniru NOT to poniry. Once again, congratulations on your effort!

  • @greekemperor1

Thank you very much for your corrections! They are very helpful!

  • @greekemperor1

    Hi again! =)

Can you teach me how to pronounce these words: [Ὅτι σοῦ ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία καὶ ἡ δύναμις καὶ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας· ἀμήν.].

    Thank you very much!

  • @IbrownrussianbearI Greetings again my friend! These words are pronounced as follows: Oti su estin i vasilia ke i dinamis ke i doksa is tus eonas. Amin

Always glad to be of assistance!

  • @greekemperor1

    Thank you very much! =)

    God bless you!

  • @greekemperor1

    Hello again!

Can you call God - Θεός in your prayer?

    God bless you!

  • @IbrownrussianbearI

Well, that depends. Do you have a specific verse in mind?

  • @greekemperor1

Yes I've heard that Elohim from hebrew = Theos

    And Adonai = Kirios.

  • @IbrownrussianbearI

Well, when you put it this way, I'd say yes, though the word "Kyrios" -for Lord- is used more oftenly in order to call God, than the word "Theos" -for God.

  • @greekemperor1

Oti su estin i vasilia ke i dinamis ke i doksa is tus eonas. Amin

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.

    It's the same?

    Thank you for your help!

    I really love Greek language!

  • @IbrownrussianbearI

It's the same, more or less, though a more accurate translation would be: For thine is the kingship, and the power, and the glory, in the eons

I wish more people would share your love of the Hellenic language (including the supposed modern Greek people)

    God bless you!

  • There's a website with the lords prayer in like a million languages...

  • Though your work on collecting all those scripts and pronouncing them is impressive, I must say that, as a Greek and an orthodox christian, I feel offended that, from all languages, the only one you couldn't even read correctly, much less pronounce, was the language that was initially used to record the Evangelion. I speak of course about Ancient Greek. And for your information, in modern greek schools we say this prayer EVERY MORNING AND IN ANCIENT GREEK! So you bet we know how it sounds!!!

  • @greekemperor1

Hi! Below I've wriiten the text of prayer. Is it in modern or ancient greek?

    I've learnt it by heart.

ὡς ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς - os en yrano ke epi tis gis (is it right pronansuation?)

  • @IbrownrussianbearI

Greetings! The text you have written is in ancient greek. It's pronounciated as follows:

" os en urano ke epi tis gis". Congratulations on your effort to learn this prayer in the language in which it was initially recorded! God bless you and all our brothers and sisters on earth!

  • @greekemperor1

Hi! Thank you for your answer!

I have a great desire to visit the mount Athos! I sometimes pray the Jesus's prayer in old Russian, but I've found out that praying it in Greek is much easier: Kirie I'isu Xriste eleison me.

  • Great work, Thanks! I was just looking for this work. I'm working on similiar multilingual project here, in Russia. I'll try to contact you by private message.

  • God bless Orthodox chirstian

  • im greek and i didn't understand anything this girl said her accent was so awful

she did not pronounce right the words

  • @annwyn17 so you're an ancient Greek speaker? That's fascinating!

  • in greek schools we all learn a little bit of ancient greek language

and we always say this prayer in ancient greek

and every morning at school right before class starts we pray the lord's prayer in greek (Πάτερ ἡμῶν )it's actually translated as (Our Father)

so i know how this prayer sounds\and this doesn't sound like greek language lol its not just a bad accent its wrong and im writing this because i don't want people to hear this and believe that ancient greek language sounds like that

  • @annwyn17

I love praying "Our Father" in modern Greek. It sounds very good!

  • @albuseverus I suppose he is not and just speaks greek, because if he would speak ancient greek he would have understood everything

  • @d4rkf1ght3r are you talking about me

  • @albuseverus hellenistic greek has been used and passed down in the orthodox church for 2000 years--hope that helps

  • @albuseverus I think you said this in ancient greek quite well, accents could be better of course, ancient greek is very melodic. I learned this language for more than 1 year, so I know how to spell it properly enough. Don't worry about that comment from annwyn17, I met few greeks and they don't know how to read ancient greek properly, which was quite odd for me :P

Great job with all those languages, BTW.

  • @albuseverus the Lord's Prayer was written in Koine Greek and this dialect was pronounced very similar to modern Greek, not the controversial academic pronunciation of Attic Greek

  • Comment removed

  • Finnish sounds like Japanese xD

  • @annwyn17 Albuseverus, is not using the modern greek pronunciation, which we use today, but what is believed to be the pronunciation of ancient greek.

Albuseverus, you shold include modenr greek as well or at least the same prayer but read in modern greek pronunciation.

  • @Etyaldaron ok now plzzz listen to this - Pater Imon -The Original 'Lord's Prayer' in Greek -- that's how my language sounds like and its not modern greek nor ancient greek its KOINE greek

now if you dont know what koine greek is its not my problem YOU CAN GOGGLE IT AND FIND OUT but you won't try to correct me neither to tell me about my oun language ok

sorry for my bad english but i believe you understand

  • I love that you included quenya and sindarin :)

  • The Finnish version is Catholic version. Evangelical Lutheran is more popular in Finland. Just the middle part is little different: Anna meille tänä päivänä meidän jokapäiväinen leipämme.

  • Wonderful to see someone on the world with the same passion for language as me. I'm a native English speaker, but I speak Spanish, French, American Sign language (haha as well as you can 'speak' sign). Your French accent sounds like your speaking an old form of French, it's pretty cool! Ur Spanish may need a little help, but hey, your speaking Chinese, that would be a tough one to master for a Westerner. Good Job! Keep Up! :-)

  • I think yu forgot the most important version; Hebrew.

  • Beautiful

  • What you pronounce as "ray-g-neh" in French, is more like "Ree-hn" with a sound protruding from the throat in the "Ree"

  • Amazing !

  • Fader vår du som er i himmlen.

La ditt navn holdes hellig, la ditt rike komme,

    Amen.

    Norwegian :D

  • Absolutely brilliant. As far as I can tell you nailed the pronunciation without the slightest hint of an accent. Bravo! I'd love to make a video reply to this with a few languages I know: my native Swedish, Icelandic (which should have been my native language) and Gothic, and anything else I can think of. If I could only find some recording software. Any tips?

    Keep the faith! God bless!

    /J

  • Finnish sounds very beautiful, but in a very peculiar way.

  • Hey, I liked this, all except the Greek. It sounded like a cross between Aramaic and Chinese. But that's OK, all's forgiven. It's all for the same Jesus, Yeshua. Amen.

  • I found a wonderfull Greenlandic version:

    /watch?v=oWVyWUwsyno&feature=grec_index

I personally am fascinated by that language, I hope you guys like it.

  • That it was Norwegian, except I could understand more than I usually did of Norwegian :) thank you so much

  • What is your native language? I am a native English speaker, and your accent isn't very strong or un-understandable in English. I know Spanish too, and you had a seemingly difficult time pronouncing that language. This is probably true for Italian, too i am guessing, but I am not as sensitive to sounds in that language. Is your native language Finnish or maybe a Scandinavian language? I really enjoyed hearing the old English. Before looking to see what language it was, I guessed tha

  • Awesome....God bless you

  • This is a Filipino translation of The Lord's Prayer Ama Namin, sumasalangit ka. Amen.
  • i like this i know the prayer in Latin and English this is cool

  • fantastic..thank you and may God bless you:)

  • You should definitely do one in Syriac (Middle Aramaic) which has actually descended from the Language Jesus PROBABLY spoke.

  • If you want to sound very Ancient while doing Classical Greek, remember that it is a tonal language. In ancient times Greek was a tonal language. So you have ( ` ) which is a falling tone and ( ´ ) which is a rising tone and ( ˆ ) which is rising and falling. It's the exact opposite of chinese which is falling then rising. However, usually in reading ancient greek in modern times you just put "accent" on the accented vowels rather than changing the tone.

  • Great job!!! Besides the Elvish languages and Japanese that I do not know at all and chinese which i know very little you did an amazing job. Specially great job on old English, German and French. I think you definitely need to work a bit on your Spanish and Italian accent. Also, as far as I know Latin is usually spoken formally in prayers and the kind, however, you accent was that of Vulgar Latin. For Classical greek pay attention to the accent marks.

  • I am Greek and I can assure you that your pronunciation of ancient Greek is very good,it is called "the erasmic pronunciation".Well done!

  • All the languages are very beautiful but you've added extra magic and enchantment. It shows on your English version of the prayer.

Human languages spoken by a divine voice.

  • french is at 3:50.

  • Old English doesent sound anything like the new one, strange

  • @gorbachev9 That's not strange : english has been heavily influenced by old french at that time of transition between old and middle english. Thus you can find at least 60% of the english vocabulary cognate with french.

  • what is your native language?

  • @OsorioTheGreen I guess she is western European, maybe Romanian.

  • Hi, I am very interested in languages and I am catholic, so thanks for the uploading this video. I was impressed with your pronunciation, specially in Japanese. However, I did not like the way you pronounce 'deuda' in the Spanish version: 'eu' together does not make a new sound, like in German, intead you should just say de-u-da, as if they where different words. I am Portuguese, if you want I can record my own voice praying 'Pai Nosso' and send to you as a mp3 file. thanks again

  • you are very talented

  • Thank you. I speak 5 languages, and your inflection on the ones I 5 languages, and your inflection on the ones I know are perfect.

    God Bless You!

And may he guard and keep you through our Saviour Christ Jesus. Amen.

  • excellent...i like the old english pronunciation ...lol!!about the Greek...i thought your pronunciation was very close to the pronunciation of the Classical Greek...by the time Jesus was born Greek pronunciation had changed a bit..anyway...today Greeks pronounce it a little bit differently even though is the same text...!!

  • Excellent work! the shots of the ancient texts while you are reading is perfect. For the languages I speak (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) your pronunciation was very good (especially the first three). For your Koine Greek, that actually was not a bad attempt, much better than most readings out there. Check out my channel for Koine Greek readings by myself and others that will give you a better understanding of how to pronounce it. Kudos on a job well done.

  • ♥♥♥i like the japanese version guyz give me lyrics the lords prayer of japanese plss!!♥♥♥

  • the spanish sounds like a russian trying to speak spanish

  • Thank you! I learned this in German in high school but forgot it. I took Latin but never learned the Lord's Prayer in Latin-so I am now. I also want to learn it in Spanish.

  • Marvelous!!!, I was searching for lords prayer in languages which I am currently learning, and almost everyone (except Russian) are already here. Btw, your pronunciation is very good, how long have you been practicing Chinese and French? You made my day!

  • haha, love the tolkein. this is very impressive! how many of these languages do you actually speak?

  • For the Chinese, you should pronounce the 'Y' more on Yin Wei, so it doesn't sound like In Wei so much. :) Really good though!

  • This is so~ cool!

  • The Finnish sounds awesome, that is such a fun language to listen to :D these are really cool! thanks!

  • @MrProudArmenian maybe they can't pronounce Armenian... or couldn't find it? I would be interested to hear it if you could post a video of it?

  • This is great. I'm really glad you did all these languages. How would you find the French and Spanish version?

  • Great job

  • You have a beautiful accent in Mandarin!

  • I think your efforts are briliant!!!! you need to work a little more on your Greek (maybe you could listen to others first, I will forward a link)!

I agree that you should consider a career in linguistics. all the best

  • I'm a native english speaker, but learned German and French fluently when I was young, my whole family is German. I have to say, your dialect for German ,French and English is absolutly impeccible, and the oriental and romantic languages executed perfectly, I surely hope your career is in linguistics. The world needs people like you

  • Here's Icelandic:

Amen.

  • Very interesting!! Do you want the Dutch version?

  • I know it in danish:

Fadervor, du som er i himlen

hellige vorde dit navn, komme dit rige, ske din vilje på jorden således også i himlen.

Giv os idag vort daglige brød og forlad os vores skyld som også vi forlader vores skyldnere.

Led os ikke i fristelse, men fri os fra det onde, thi dit er riget magten og æren i al evighed, amen.

There isn't a good version on youtube, so maybe I'll be the first.

  • the spanish our father is so much different then the one i do :O

  • outstanding i can do this in spanish btw in italian this is rly near it

  • god, there is an incredibly high frequent beeping in the whole video... i got terrible headache now, thanks

  • @jedivolt i didn't hear that...

  • The Our Father in chinese, Ithink it is Christians not Catholic

  • @cuesania Catholics are Christians, stupid!!!! They are the original Christians. everybody else broke away from them or from groups that broke away from the Catholic Church. They even were the first to put the Christian Bible together.

  • @prxam2 the catholic church is corrupt, and most catholics i know are willing to admit it, people broke away because the catholic church was selling tickets to heaven, and other ridiculous stuff.

  • By no means is this true. The first catholics slaughtered Christians, and the ones who put todays bible together where "heretics" of the catholic church.

Compare the catholic church to the pagan worship of ancient Babylon and you will find no difference.

Peter never set foot in Rome, if he had, Paul would've included his name in the letter to Romans.

  • @ bigpadro: incredible stupidity and ignorance.
