Just be sure to *hold* it up, and you'll switch characters.

You have to end your set with your created character, and that will then start the set for your teammate.

To end your set, simply pressing and hold up (i.e., north) on the left analog stick. Sometimes it helps if you do the motion of moving north on the stick slowly, instead of quickly.

So, I'd appreciate some help here: I seem to be unable to do a finishing move. Like the video shows, I want to be able to do a finishing move in Practice mode, so that I can have my "crew mate" come in and dance. Heck, I can't even do Finishing Moves in throwdowns.

Everything I've read says to tap up on the Left Analog Stick while your Hype is full and flashing. Done that, and it shows the "Killing It" animation... but my throwdown doesn't end.

Any *detailed* help would be appreciated!

Yes! I figured it out! You have to **press and hold up** on the left analog stick, instead of just tapping up on it.

How do you keep moves go so fluidly without crashing?

You have to (1) have a good selection of moves and (2) know the movelist, so you know what you can transition into for each move. Also, doing the swing meters well helps, along with tapping R1 or L1 with the beat.

quick question, how do you get your moves to be a green color? like mine always come out red, which probably means im messing up something?

i always press R/L button on the white beats, transition of blue beats, and freeze on yellow beats...what am i doing wrong lol...

if u use fresh new moves dat u havent used in dat battle it will always be green.

@kingclifford676 I have the game myself. It's fun to play sometimes. I have to disagree with u strongly though that everybody bites. Every person has their own flava. The biggest thing I see wrong with the younger bboys (not all the youth but alot) today is their focusing TOO much on the moves rather than the music. Its not about moves but how the music makes you want to move. Its about putting your own flava on moves and putting together new and UNIQUE combinations of moves.

Instead of true self expression I'm seeing TOO many of the same mundane sets done to the same breaks that they play over and over at every jam. Beatrocking isn't about rehearsed moves and sets to certain breaks of songs,but improvised and spontaneous feelings and emotions exploding in physical form to music
