  • heat/cold is how fast the molecules are moving

  • I.ALWAYS.DIDNT.KNOW.HOW.THIS.THING.WORKED.

    NOW.I.KNOW.GOOD.

    THANKYOU/.GUYS.FOR.TEACHING.ME.MICROWA\/ING.STUFF.THANKYOU

  • @TheLobsterOfFate lolwut?

  • @TheLobsterOfFate ahh.. sigh.. just reading this makes me laugh. I felt the same way. lol

  • Thanky you i made a film about it and i will present it at school tommorow. :D

  • aww i thought she said water is BI-polar. i was gonna make a bipolar joke. :c

  • @EastCoastPeace3 thats what she said

  • I wanna know if it is danger, or the food can lose the proteins or something like that

  • Fuck yeaHH im puttin this on my favorites!

  • I now have the world in the palm of my hand.

  • 2.5 billion times a second...ok..thanks.

  • Cancers are caused by Microwave Radiation.

  • @heartlessvietboy fuck..

  • I feel like a new man now. Next time i go for a job interview i'm going to mention this.

  • And also geneticly modifies your food Which later gives you cancer

  • that chiken looks goood!

  • i was always wondering. well now i know. thanks.

  • One short thing you need to know to really understand this video: heat is produced by (in fact you can say it "IS") how fast atoms move. So just by exciting the water molecules you are actually heating the food.

  • wow! after all those years i thought it was jesus behind all of these!

  • I thought you just added deadly radiation.

  • @vandread3555 Radiation? Yes.

    Deadly? Most certanly.

Just not Alfa, Beta or Gamma radiation.

  • @Serostern 'Twas supposed to be a joke :3

    And it's "Alpha"

  • ITS A SERIES OF TUBES!!

  • simple, short, easy to understand over all great video.

  • Im doing my science report on microwaves !this is a great vid thanks ! :D

  • you guys are fucking nerds go geet a girlfriend please. yr ancient dude!!!!

  • @GamingInfamousMW first, you must refrain from using everything that those so called nerds invented... starting with your computer.

I'll bet your wouldn't last an hour

  • not just water, sugar as well. and oil i beleive?

  • cool. so y does it cook frm the outside to the center if the wave scatters?

  • so how is it dangerous

  • @5soap it can burn the water in you and cook you from inside out. pretty damn dangerous!!

  • @5soap the magnetron produces microwaves, that bounce off the walls, and the food which then enter your body when you digest the food. yummy.

  • "Water Molecules, which are contained in MOST foods"? There are water molecules in ALL foods. It's needed for the cells to exist at all, all cells would die from dehydration without water molecules.

  • This is very useful knowledge. If you know this, it is a simple conclusion that if you gloss over a food item with water it will heat up more evenly. This is additionally the reason food dries out so quickly in the microwave. Therefore, use extra water when you microwave something such as noodles or rice to keep it moist and cook evenly.

  • Nice short video interesting video!

  • cool thnx for the video man 5 stars

  • Now THAT is some good learnin'

  • @quietthomas Fuckin hell it is! LOL

  • ohhhhhhhhh thats how.

  • can someone please tell me HOW they know the water molecules move back and forth 2.5 billion times per second. that sounds unbelievable, but assuming it's true, how do they measure something that fast?

  • there are amazing methods to do things like that!!! i think they can calculate it form the heat energy produced!

  • @itunes65 : you don't need to measure something that you specially creates! The wave has such a frequence - the water just follows.
