Everybody Please...>_> It appears that the mom on this video is fully aware of the situation happening with the baby and dog. This isn't about Cesar Milan and the Dog Whisperer or what kind of dog it is. It's not about the mom's tone of voice (which all of us mothers talk that way to our babies.) It's not about the baby sitting in the chair. If the baby was unhappy, the baby would be crying instead of laughing....chill....lol ...signed mother of twins with 2 shih tzu dogs...:P
it's really sad that a mother can't make her baby laugh/happy without people saying she's trying to harm her baby or being fake! Come on, everyone has their own "baby voice"! No one talks to a baby like they talk to older children, adults, etc...if we did the baby prob wouldn't respond the same. We do it to get a positive reaction (such as laughter)! Duh!
I dont know if u see, but your dog have some serious hierarchy problems, bcoz its growling at your hand when you try to take its toy, thats not approved behavior!!
@Mici1909 All dogs do this. Have you ever had one? My dog, who was in the family for a good 8 years, would still growl and make aggressive noises when he played or if u tried to take his bone. Thats just how they play. :)
lol @ everyone pointing out the fake laugh..must have never talked to a baby ever. i couldnt talk to a baby consistently in a serious voice/manner lol the baby would be terrified
@BunnyRidesaPa1eHorse your a joke there is nothin dangerous about pitbulls..i hav 2 kids and i hav 4 pitbulls...there is no problems they all get along and they all play...even better i had my dogs 3 years b4 my kids came so as you can tell theres nothing wrong look at all the vids on here showing kids having fun with them you see no problems bc there is no problems
Chihuahuas are awesome when it comes to babies as long as they are raised right. My chihuahua wouldn't leave my daughter's side after I brought her home from the hospital. She sat in my lap when I fed her and layed by her bassenet and protected her. She was even protective of my pregnant belly. And she has NEVER done anything remotely aggressive towards my little girl
To you people saying she is putting her baby in danger by having it around this dog.
You are absolute idiots.
Having your baby around a dog like that is no more dangerous than letting it walk around the house, taking it to a park, or letting a friend hold him.
A nick or cut may happen, but bubble wrap your & kid you will suffocate it
Until you have kids of your own or until your doctor removes your diagnosis of mentally unstable quit randomly telling people what to do with their own kids.
Rofl just read another comment saying the baby would be safer around a newfoundland than this dog because they are more "gentle"
Hahahah! Fool. Don't you realize that no matter what that chihuaha did it couldnt kill the baby unless by some miracle it bit his jugular. & That would never ever happen.
On the other hand a large dog could do something as small as step on the baby and break one of its bones or crush its ribcage.
Nobody is accusing you of "knowingly" putting the baby in danger. I think people's concern here is that you unaware but still putting your baby in danger. If 10 people on here are making comments, maybe there is something to it.
From the looks of it your little one was thinking that she'd like to be a doggy when she grows up! I must admit it does look like fun from that perspective.
The breeder said he was a pure bred chihuahua (not sure how truthful he was being). He does have all the characteristics of a chihuahua...but he is VERY large!
@bernardfrancisking Chihuahuas comes in all sorts of shapes, there are 2 specific classes, Apple heads and Deer heads, you have an Apple head, but anyway my point is small chihuahuas are small because they are runts or Mal nourished as a pup or while they are in the the womb and thus they don't grow too much. I have a chihuahua as well i got her off of a very well known breeder and shes a monster, she looks like a miniature pincer. but yeah.. cute baby :P
@bernardfrancisking and both my chihuahuas parents are under 6 pounds, but my Shibby is now 14 pounds and all muscle and healthy :) check out my videos of him if you want everyone
Right, they growl like that when you play with them, they wont snap you unless you go touch them when they sleep, that is rare though, almoost never they do it.And they bark a lot,but don't bite seriously, maby snap when they are happy or playing with them.
Pico has never bitten anyone or shown aggression towards anyone. He is a very social, loving and happy chihuahua. He and our daughter are great friends and have a wonderful relationship...I would never put her in danger!
Looking back at this after two years, I'll admit my voice sounds high and my laugh sounds fake...just trying to make her laugh!

Cute! My baby laughs at our chihuahuas too. BUT it's unsafe to leave her in that bumbo on top of a couch. If the dog ran into her she could have fallen all the way down to the floor head first
