  • when you jumped and the ground exploded in 0:51, it was really noticeable that there was a bored that sprayed up dirt. next time just make the bored easier to step on or put more force on that leg to make it look like you weren't trying to blow up. great movie. i love wwii films. oh.. and put mussle flashes and dirt flying in front of the camera... or smoke

  • Lol uses binoculars to look across the yard

  • make the firing of the guns more like the real guns i saw a trenchgun(shotgun) shooting automatic and a sniper tht shot like a 50 cal.

  • that was epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wuz he a jap?

  • At :46, he would have popped smoke to cover the move. Nobody ever yelled charge. It was MOVE MOVE MOVE. No grenades until the end? There would have been 5 or 6 in that "tree bunker" before anyone got close to it.

  • true

  • looks like the old Combat series on Fox Classics

  • guys i love making action movies too you should buy fx home effects lab its £70 from amazon and has amazing special effects

  • freekin awesome....im so stoned n it looks 99% real to me lol

  • Thats good stuff. The only think I would add is trying to edit in mussle flashes to add to the cinematics.

  • Woodland was derived from tigerstripe after the vietnam war. If you are going to do WWII movies in the future, I suggest getting something OD or Kahki. Nice effects with the flying dirt.

  • Nice video, it might not be accurate but it's cool

  • the fight scene could have been longer and better planned out

  • At 2:15 a guy is wearing woodland pattern combat jacket. Not invented until after ww2

  • the person with the white and blue clothes isnt a good match for a war

  • hey ur movie making skills are really good but i have a couple tips:

    1. add music, even if quiet, throughout pretty much the whole movie

    2. If you can, try to go somewhere else besides next to a house. i kno that it doesn't really matter here, but try nontheless to make realistic settings

    3. Learn how to add special effects for muzzleflashes

Other than that, this was great! 5 stars and subbed

  • its still cool though

  • so when then paintball masks exist in 1940's?

  • excellent excellent excellent!!!

its kinda like saving private ryan style

i love making films myself but a lot of them are just not good enough to go onto you tube

by the way, how did u do the grenade bits where the ground just blew up?

  • My guess is that they had a guy out of frame throw it near/at the soldiers making it look like that was the bomb

  • what do u mean actual bits of dirt?

  • yeah like they got handfulls or a bucket of dirt and then threw it at them

  • yeah i see what you mean.

  • Really great movie, and exellent setting, hilarious at 4:59

  • lol i have the same BB gun as the guy at 3:16

  • the helmet scene at 1;30 was good. very emotional. lol. nice sound btw.

  • i have the same shoes as the guy who knifed the sniper

  • i wonder

do they make a paintball Gewehr 43 rifle?

  • i know where u can get it custom made... if ur willing to pay

  • were

wat rifle is it built off of

do they make it sniper version

i am willing to save up as long as its legit

  • maybe they do but you can have one made

  • were

  • guys that was great i love the black lightbulb for the grenade. the guns were realistic too, but the paintball masks were not that great. i liked the sound effects, well done.:)

  • The only thing I would recommend is maybe to add some muzzle flashes. It was good.

  • why is he wearing a paint ball helmet

  • I like your vids - medieval and WWII - i like to make movies in the same genres... Hell of a lot of effort put into them, even with a limited budget. Well done. :-D

  • i liked it subscribed

  • wish i could join you guys, i got a mosin nagant in the closet (real)

  • Three things. Poor camera skill, no muzzle flashing, and... a painted light bulb.

  • get a life and go make your own movie if you are so great! omg i hate ppl like you!

  • Quoting the description: " We love action movies but please comment if you can see something we can improve for our future movies."

  • some good special effecrs this inspires me. me and my friend make our own vids like this too

  • The Thompson's are plastic toy shotguns with a magazine attachments, made out of a combination of black duct tape and card bored. The helmets were borrowed from a friend, I'm not sure what happened to the lining. The special effects are "dirt catapults" small pieces of wooden levers that have dirt and powder on one end so that it will create an explosion effect when an actor steps on the other end of the wood. please note at the end of the cridets that this is a WWII movie EXPERIMENT. plz enjoy!

  • LOL XD . That was heaps clever the way you made the Thompsons . The dirt catapults that was good but yeah nothing too new been done before. But that was good how you used that idea. I loved the helmets. But when you make movies that AREN'T experiments that are action movies make the action fast like make sure some one doesn't take like a minute to react to an enemy standing right in front of him lol.

  • They made the Thompsons out of wood im presuming. And I too missed the lining in the helmets.

  • where was the liner in your helmet

  • i love how you point this out.. did you also realise they wern't weren't wearing uniforms.. what do you expect..

  • ya i know but that must suck not having the liner

  • haha

  • love the nike's

  • whered u get the thompsons??

  • man I remember seeing this video a long time ago nice to see that you guys have added some more videos

  • Hey all! I'm helping the director out by adding some fx like 'splosions and muzzle flashes into it. Anyways, this is probably not the best place for advice, but if you know anything about tracking, I'd like some suggestions for this movie. The lack of tripods is making me crazy! I have Production Premium available, but I really don't want to adjust or rotoscope each frame. Any tutorials would be great!

  • lol sweet, howd you make the dirt explosions?

  • they could just get some guy to throw dirt at them.

  • what the hell is a muzzle flash?

  • the gun flashs wen a gun fires

  • Some of the camera angles were really good, but yeah, you need muzzle flashes definitely.

  • lol, surprisingly, that's the first YouTube video I've heard with the Wilhelm scream.

  • nice

  • not bad at all i like!

  • hey, is that a daisy powerline sg22?

  • did you really kill people

  • okey. take some time and add muzzle flashes in post production software, for example in after effects, it will improve footage and atmosphere big time.

Also play more with sound editing, use more sounds, not just loop few sounds again and again, it is verry noticable.

U can also simply add in after effects a dirt hit effect, smoke and explosive effects.

It would also improve atmosphere big time.

    Take care mate;)

  • you should like go in a wide area and get more people

  • Hey, my friends and I are going to make a movie soon, does anyone have any tips?

  • yhhheaa use paintball guns just the gas and fire crackers smoke bombs and dirt

  • also don't use modern things like paintball masks or stuff like that or normal t shirts

  • Do NOT use paintball guns if you're doing a WWII movie.

  • kick ass home movie dude!

  • i love it, the only critisism that i would have is that u have maybe a muzzle flash or something

  • when the guys throte gets cut he screams as hes being thrown over the edge

normally u cant talk afta ur throte has been cut lol

  • if u had muzzle flash - this cud go global (atleast has the abilitity to)

  • That is currently in the works

  • the weapons used in this movie are very accurate u gotta tell me where u managed to get them from. mite want to consider adding plane effects and a kik ass backyard.

  • Yeah, your weapons are really cool. I really like your Thompsons. Where did you get them or how did you make them?

  • u need after effects or vision lab to make muzzle flashes, cool catapult dirt technique, ive tried using thatbut it doestnt work as good with me, nice sound effects, cheasy clothing(masks) loved the guns where did u get the thompson and springfield can any one help me find cheap ww2 gear guns uniforms ect

  • bad ass back yard

  • lol pretty good, make gun flashes and u can use penny bombs to make gun places get hit with bullet shots

  • look " Sight of Hostage" .. cool war movie! =)

  • cool

  • i'm my sis bro and i can't tel if thats fake blud like when somebody is wonded or dead like in the movie.

  • you were wearing addida pants

  • nice fx

  • Try not to wear to many modern day clothing. But otherwise it looks good.

  • i wonder where can i get the helmets..that's all...i mean..where can i order them?

  • By the way nice sound effects.

  • U asked people to say waht u need to improve,so u need to improve, clothes, guns, scenery ,equipment, no modern day items etc in the movie, get more ww2 weapons, improve special effects. If u want to reply and incase ur wondering what ww2 stuff i have just call and ill send a vid of it all, it may help to look at me and my brothers authentic ww2 uniforms on my utube page to see what u need to improve on.

  • u should and muzzle flashs

  • Nice job, could use some effects and music. If you want to watch some cool action movies, search "the superhero files" parts 1,2, and 3.

  • i give it six awards

  • needs camera work try and make it a bit more stedyer

  • nice1

  • lol thats pretty cool

  • the wite sweater??

    ._.

  • where did you get the helmets and guns

  • cool que chingon

  • at 4:16 to 4:21 how did u do those mini expolsions.

  • i like how in the very begginning the german hits his head on the window

  • How exactly did you get the sound effects in? I always wanted to do somethin like this but couldnt get the sound effects on so i had to use what i had.

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! falling dirt!!! LOL

  • also when the guy in the white was ruuning down the hill from 4:17 to 4:20 all except the last on were good

  • that was really good. the the explosion effect at the beginning would have looked better if he had just run over the plank and tumbled over.

  • where did you get hellmets and guns?

  • that was cool film lolz

  • tHats was pretty good, and the granade was Priceless
