  • @level84 @kapollo101 it is not a mistake. kanten refers to the japanese agar and not the entire dish.

  • I have trouble eating agar... after taking multiple chem labs and growing bacteria on it I just can't eat it anymore :(

  • Your Kanten recipe is wrong, I had to use 8 g of agar for 500 ml of water, using only 4 g proved to produce unusable Kanten, hope you correct it =)

  • from what I understand, agar is basically this seaweed extract that's the asian (and vegetarian) equivalent of gelatin. so i suppose you could just make very solid jell-o.

  • @okoloptttify That is a Ceramic Knife~ It's really sharp but once you drop it~ It will break into pieces or will have a chipped on some parts. but if you really want a Ceramic Knife~ I suggest that you should buy the one made by KYOCERA~ Their Cer. Knives are really good.

  • I am lucky to get this at a local grocery store. I had no idea it was so easy to make! Plus I can get all the ingredients at the same store for far less then they charge to make it. So yummy!! I think my family has a new summer hit!
