Oh sorry i think you are solo Belly dancer he3! Group u mean like ensayo style dance? Belly dance music has many style, when we want to be a belly dancer, we must learn about the belly dance music style, in middle east there are many style music and dance, saidi (upper egypt), tciftellesi (turkish gypsy), khaleji (gulf), bandari (persia), shaabi (cairo), cöçek (balkan), gnawa (maghrib), nuba (spain)

well i do solos and i'm apart of a group, yeah like ensayo style hehe :) it's good to have a group to dance with and share emotions with, but it's good to have the freedom we have when we dance solo too :)

well the truth is that i don't perform much in public alone... i have a group soo usualy is my teacher who choose the songs... But i love all kinds of music, i think i've never heard Roman Gipsy istambul style but i think right now i'm trying to learn a bit of everything, there's soo much to learn in bellydance, soo much to see soo much to feel, soo i'm trying all kinds of music and styles right now hehe :)

Zahira actualy im also a köçek (in turkish mean male belly dancer), when i perform to audience i like to use Roman Gypsy istanbul style and balkan style music, but when i pratice i like to use Shaabi (cairo music) and Saidi (upper egypt music), zahira what kind style music when you perform to public..

Thanx3.. I suggest you must see telenovela El Clon or O Clone (in brazil portuguese), because in El Clon there a many brazil belly dancer such gisele bomentre and many more perfomance in this Telenovela, this telenovela story about our muslim religion meet latin american culture.. Peace
