wow i cant beleive all the gaybox 360 fanboys on here,listen ive had a ps3 60 gb for 2 years now and have had NO problems whatsoever and the controller is wayyyyy better then the 360's i would say its the most natural fealing controller i have ever had and with all the improvements they have made on it its even better!! and before anyone trashes me for this i had both sytems before and the ps3 has never failed while the 360 on the other hand has failed numerous amounts of times so chew on that!!

as for my real comment; my opinion is that the 360 controller is better for FPS games like black ops. The ps3 controller is as u said in your video review better for racing games. My personal favorite is the 360 controller and i have the 360 console. I like the 360 controller because of its style and comfortability like as u said in your review. More people might like the ps3 controller and less people might like the 360 controller or the other way around.
Some people fail to realize that it depends to the person. For example in a flight combat based game or both ground flying like warhawk I'd use my normal ps3 controller. For fps shooters i'd love to use a wireless 360 controller. Yeah i find the PS3 recharging very satisfying (lol), the battery runs out, i recharge for 10min and don't need to recharge again for a couple of hours :P
Xbox 360 controller fits in the hands very good and it seems the PS3 batteries also go out in like 6-4 hours for me, that seems like a big downhill. But xbox 360 batteries slightly better for me. But the ps3 triggers just are :(
Its about preferance. I have had a ps ps2 and ps3 and im just used to the controllers. Theres no differance saying wich one is better. But one thing about the xbox controller that is better, is that the back trigger, your fingers dont tend to slide off it as much. But the ones close to the top are too small..
xbox controller is better cuz you can get a 2 charger pack for it so it will never need time off and each lasts for about 48 hours each n now at 3 years it holds only 24 hours insted of a ps3 that must be pluged in and i find only lasts about 28 hours so i have to sit with my ps3 to play a game so battery gose to 360 for sure also it feals more natural and it can fill your hands alot nicer and there is no speed dif on the analog stick but the dpad for the ps3 wins on position+use but xbox wins
I was at a best buy last week and I seen perhaps the best controller. It was for the ps3. I can't remember what it was called, but it was made by some 3rd party people (not sony). They basically put the left joystick where the xbox one is, so it even more closely resembled the xbox controller. They also made it slightly more bulky, but not as bulky as the xbox controller. It was like heaven holding it. I wanted to get it, but I was too cheap.
both great, great reveiw. On games like red dead xbox is better. But on CoD PS3 is better, i bought the attachable triggers for PS3 and they fix the slippery R2 & L2. They also help a lot in red dead. It would be awsome if they combined.

I feel that the Xbox controller is a little bit more comfortable since it's bigger, I have both and the PS3's controller feels smaller than the PS2's controller which was like a bit smaller than the Xbox. But if they made the PS3's bigger then it would be more comfortable.

you forgot to mention the motion sensors in the ps3 controllers which the X-Box does not have. I didnt realize it had these until i got Killzon 2. If you dont believe me try it out on Killzones campaign.
Yeah, I like the PS3 controller better because the buttons are closer together and easier to reach so you don't get killed in a shooter. Though the back buttons for the PS3 do feel kind of wierd when pressed (L2 & R2) the 360 has those buttons down, overall though, in my opinion, I think I'd die more in call of duty or some shooter more with a 360, they're both good though, I just prefer the PS3.

On-topic: I really hope someone makes a universal controller for PS and XBox that has rubber grips, a d-pad like Sony's and a trigger system like Microsoft's. Maybe even make it in a small, medium and large size, that way there is more customization.
For one thing i have both consoles and i play both consoles almost as equally as eachother. I personally prefer the 360 controller because its bigger, better grips on analog sticks, and the triggers arent buttons (you can push them down half way.)
I agree with you that the ps3 triggers suck balls but I notice that when I use the ps3 controller my hands go tense when both my thumbs are on the joysticks so I think if the ps3 should be a little bigger
been using the ps controller for many many years. i dont have a complaint. there's nothing bad about it. but obviously you can see that more money was put into the xbox controller, then the xbox hardware, were ps3 concentrated more on blu-ray and hardware.

The PS3 controller is much better for FPS games like MW2, and RPG games like FF13, whereas the 360 controller excels with Third Person Shooters like Gears of War, racing games, and sports games.
You have a point, but that's because they are two different games. If you compared gears to a game where you have to aim in (like cod) the shooting controls are the same but the button controls aren't.
The point is that just because the game is in 3rd person doesn't mean you would play it in a different way then a 1st person shooter.

Ps3 gets about 20 hours per charge since it's Bluetooth and 360 gets about 40 hours on 2 aa's and if you care so much just buy the play and charge for xbox 360.

it autcly proven that the 360 aa batteries last 40 hours i dont know what batteries u use but i think u use used batteries cause i charge my ps3 controller all the time and it still fucks up

i <3 the ps3 controller. ive used both. a lot of times. my cousin has a 360 and i have a ps3. only thing i like about the 360 controller is the triggers and the indented joysticks because its more form fitting. the dpad is annoying since its all connected. i have the attachment triggers for the ps3 and i dont like em. if sony had the 360 triggers and joysticks their controller would rule all. lol just my opinion. but i really prefer sonys over microsofts.
The ps3 controller is much more out of allignment since there is no room in between the buttons due to the controller being half the size. And allignment with what? Your tiny hands?

I find it hard to believe your thumbs don't end up going way past the ones on the ps3 controller. and because they are dipped your thumb better fits into the analog sticks.

Ive only had the rrod once over a 5 year span thank you very much. got it repaired from microsoft in a week. the whole controller slips out of my hands so easily i can't stand it on a ps3 controller. if your thumb was properly curved it would dip into the analog stick to fit the shape.

I can tell you've never owned an xbox because they send you a brand new one each time. When i first picked up the controller 5 years ago it worked perfectly for me (course i did have smaller hands back then.)

@MUNKMMVIX u got that mixed up bro. the ps3 controllers break easily. the analogs, triggers, who controller. try squeezing it. it squeaks a lil which means it not built to last. the xbox's is hudge, and built storng and i have droped it so many times and nothing happens. plus its cheaper. :)
I find the sticks better on the PS3, and it's lightweight, so that's fun. Triggers look slippy, but haven't slipped once in my playtime. And you can always buy a set of triggers that you just push into place very easily.
360 is good, but the sticks are a bit clumsy.

I like the the 360 more (but havent used a ps3 much), has more resistance to the buttons and sticks which can give more control BUT slows down reaction time a little. It fits nicer and comfortably. Stick layout is nice because it makes it easier to distinguish "up here is for moving, down here is for aiming". Nice triggers. I started with a ps1 controller but the 360 suits me. Prefer the ps3 dpad and size though.
The D-pad isnt that much of a problem for the XBox. i mean, after like hours playing on Call of Duty, using it constantly (hopefully ur getting those killstreaks), ur quickly adjust to it. I personally can't stand using the PS3 because its really uncomfortable and tiny. and on top of that, i started on a Gamecube where the the thumbstick and C stick(right thumb stick) were place like the xbox. yeah, the PS3's r probably better placed, but i still prefer the XBox. nice vid still 5 stars

have u actually noticed on the ps3 u have to use the l1 and the r1 buttons instead of r2 and l2 on cod mw2. reason for this, is because l2 and r2 has a terrible position for a trigger finger with it sliding off and when u set your controller down it might go off cause of the position. and really, xbox controllers are more confortable idk about you but i have big hands and my ps3 controllers is quiet unconfortable with sticking analog sticks and them being right together with is so sm

The problem with the ps3 controller is when its battery becomes broken(even when you plug it in to the ps3 it still does not charge because of wear)you need to buy a new controller.

The first 2 PlayStations were a major success, and the first XBox was less popular than the GameCube. So my question is: how did the XBox 360 become more popular in the U.S. than the PS3? I know this is a bit off-topic, sorry.
On-topic: I really hope someone makes a universal controller for PS and XBox that has rubber grips, a d-pad like Sony's and a trigger system like Microsoft's. Maybe even make it in a small, medium and large size, that way there is more customization.

For one thing i have both consoles and i play both consoles almost as equally as eachother. I personally prefer the 360 controller because its bigger, better grips on analog sticks, and the triggers arent buttons (you can push them down half way.)
they both have about the same charge.

I agree with you that the ps3 triggers suck balls but I notice that when I use the ps3 controller my hands go tense when both my thumbs are on the joysticks so I think if the ps3 should be a little bigger

been using the ps controller for many many years. i dont have a complaint. there's nothing bad about it. but obviously you can see that more money was put into the xbox controller, then the xbox hardware, were ps3 concentrated more on blu-ray and hardware.

The PS3 controller is much better for FPS games like MW2, and RPG games like FF13, whereas the 360 controller excels with Third Person Shooters like Gears of War, racing games, and sports games.

You have a point, but that's because they are two different games. If you compared gears to a game where you have to aim in (like cod) the shooting controls are the same but the button controls aren't.
The point is that just because the game is in 3rd person doesn't mean you would play it in a different way then a 1st person shooter.

Ps3 gets about 20 hours per charge since it's Bluetooth and 360 gets about 40 hours on 2 aa's and if you care so much just buy the play and charge for xbox 360.

i <3 the ps3 controller. ive used both. a lot of times. my cousin has a 360 and i have a ps3. only thing i like about the 360 controller is the triggers and the indented joysticks because its more form fitting. the dpad is annoying since its all connected. i have the attachment triggers for the ps3 and i dont like em. if sony had the 360 triggers and joysticks their controller would rule all. lol just my opinion. but i really prefer sonys over microsofts.

Ive only had the rrod once over a 5 year span thank you very much. got it repaired from microsoft in a week. the whole controller slips out of my hands so easily i can't stand it on a ps3 controller. if your thumb was properly curved it would dip into the analog stick to fit the shape.

I can tell you've never owned an xbox because they send you a brand new one each time. When i first picked up the controller 5 years ago it worked perfectly for me (course i did have smaller hands back then.)

I find the sticks better on the PS3, and it's lightweight, so that's fun. Triggers look slippy, but haven't slipped once in my playtime. And you can always buy a set of triggers that you just push into place very easily.
360 is good, but the sticks are a bit clumsy.

I like the the 360 more (but havent used a ps3 much), has more resistance to the buttons and sticks which can give more control BUT slows down reaction time a little. It fits nicer and comfortably. Stick layout is nice because it makes it easier to distinguish "up here is for moving, down here is for aiming". Nice triggers. I started with a ps1 controller but the 360 suits me. Prefer the ps3 dpad and size though.

The D-pad isnt that much of a problem for the XBox. i mean, after like hours playing on Call of Duty, using it constantly (hopefully ur getting those killstreaks), ur quickly adjust to it. I personally can't stand using the PS3 because its really uncomfortable and tiny. and on top of that, i started on a Gamecube where the the thumbstick and C stick(right thumb stick) were place like the xbox. yeah, the PS3's r probably better placed, but i still prefer the XBox. nice vid still 5 stars

have u actually noticed on the ps3 u have to use the l1 and the r1 buttons instead of r2 and l2 on cod mw2. reason for this, is because l2 and r2 has a terrible position for a trigger finger with it sliding off and when u set your controller down it might go off cause of the position. and really, xbox controllers are more confortable idk about you but i have big hands and my ps3 controllers is quiet unconfortable with sticking analog sticks and them being right together with is so sm
