actually if it wasnt for them putting it on a console most of these famous machinima makers would have made their movies since its probably with the console's controller that they are able to move the camera slow using the joystick which is impossible with a keyboard or they had to buy a controller that plugs in the pc but i highly doubt they'd do that

When trying to play a FPS game on a console I am more busy painfully trying to use the controls than enjoy the flow of the game on the pc and just move myself naturally with a multitude of controls possible using keyboard and a mouse which would be impossible manouvers on a console.

I suspect a lot of those are done by parenting the camera to the heli, since it follows the airboat around rather smoothly. Oddly enough this is probably why helis are used so often in real life as camera platforms for mocies. :D
