  • The piano chords in the intro are very similar to Spoon's "You got yr cherry bomb" song , i prefer this song though

  • good song :3!

  • such a great song!! :D

  • This is such a beautiful song! <3 Oh and, I'm a girl and he can sing higher than me XD

  • Voiceeeee 10

    beat 10

    harmony 10

this is the best singer of the actuality

    Stephen C.

    love this guy!!!

  • @reverberator100 listen, buddy: yes, it is a long and difficult process to get the dang music on my iPod, but at least the company isn't getting my money. and secondly, IT WAS A JOKE. You wanna argue about it, that's fine. You wanna go to hell over it, that's splendid, but I'm not gonna hold your hand on the way down.

  • is it just me or does the intro to this song sound exactly like the intro to "Song 2" by Blur 0_0

  • @rasengan792 It probably does, but who cares? This happens all the time - on purpose and accidentally - and I don't get any less enjoyment out of the song. Artists try what other artists have done, and, at the end of the day, I'm secure in my musical choices despite that.

    Go' bless 'Merica.

  • Anberlin is amazing and so is Copeland so it's no surprise that Anchor & Braille is so incredible.

  • sounds like coldplay

  • love love LOVE this!!! Gosh Stephen Christian, you can sing flawlessly so much higher than me, and I'm a girl. No fair! ;)

  • but...I can recognize Aaron Marsh in the song

  • cute- making my morning...um- can he really get that high or that....i know he has good falsetto from Anberlin stuff but-no way guys get that high and still sound that good

  • @hpswtrke42 yeah they can. i can actually sing that high (on key too) lol

  • aww this is a cute song!

  • sounds kinda like a mix between viva la vida and everybody's changing

  • Yeah! stephen christian is the man! i love his sincerity! :)

  • Oh my god, mee, too! I fucking love him to death.

  • I'm a massive Anberlin fan, this is quality! Yes i agree the drumming is fantastic!!!

  • psh itunes? zunemarketplace ftw :]

  • This musical structure of this song is so simple, but that's why it's so peaceful. One of my faves on Felt. Stephen Christian never disappoints.

And I LOVE the drums in this song. So awesome.

  • hi everyone, im in love with this band <3

  • make sure you guys PURCHASE the album please :)

  • And give the album a high rating on itunes store!

  • i dont download illegally other than an occasional mp3 that i stumble across on random websites, but all music is going to be free sooner or later anyway so whats the difference? all artists need to follow radiohead, nin, smashing pumkpkins etc and start releasing albums for free. anberlin makes plenty of money of touring and merch. they, as well as other bands, need to make albums worth buying by including bonus tracks, b-sides, dvd's, and pull out booklets with lots of art, lyrics, pics etc.

  • I'm sure Radiohead makes a LOT more money off of merch and touring than any indie band like this. It would be a lot better for the band if you would purchase the album.

  • @wdashton43 yea that makes perfect sense.... free music (not). then wats the point? the artist doesnt make any money for their work. if u like music, buy it and support the artist u are otherwise stealing from.

  • @marieishere First off, I purchase albums quite frequently. I like listening to entire records, not just individual tracks. Granted, I still think its bs the price we pay for a CD. A CD costs somewhere around 10 cents to produce. We are getting ripped off.

  • @wdashton43 I'm recording with Aaron Marsh this fall, which is who this was done with, and as an independent artist,it's going to cost me a lot more than 10 cents.

So you should buy stuff at full price : ]

But you're correct about saying,if you're on a major label, most of your cash comes from merch and shows,NOT cd's,and we do rarely see any of the cd sales,it's stupid, but hey,it's part of being a musician.

  • @marieishere Not only that, but a large portion of that money doesnt even go to the artist. I would rather support the artist by buying concert tickets (in the last year i went to lollapalooza, 311, nada surf, joseph arthur, rise against, chili cookoff, and ra ra riot - so i practice what i preach), merch and even the album, if it were released independently and the band was getting all the money. bands need to tour more (see "Grateful Dead") and make cd packages worth buying.

  • @marieishere I'm sick of giving my money to a music industry that is consumed with greed and commercialization. they dont support the artists, they use them. and i hate aiding them in doing so, even though, as i mentioned, for my favorite bands i will buy the album.

at the end of the day, artists just need to not give in to these major labels that are destroying music in the name of the almighty dollar.

  • @wdashton43 Aye, there lies the rub. I will admit that the record labels are FAR from perfect, but let's face it, without them, we wouldn't know so much of the music we know. A record label is willing to invest in an artist to produce their work and distribute it to the public. The record label needs money to do this. How do they get this money? From the purchase of albums. Does the percentage of money earned & where it's distributed need to be so skewed? No, but I'm still willing to buy albums

  • @wdashton43 I strong recommend that if youre willing to purchase the album, do it when theyre on tour so they personally receive the money. also buy merch ;)

    Angie Lico

  • @wdashton43 or what you could do is in stop aiding the the music scum people in using anberlin, you could download RealPlayer, download all off your favorite songs off of youtube, and organize them into the intended album with album art. It really works, trust me, I have every anberlin song currently available by downloading them from youtube and onto realplayer and ultimately getting them in my iPod.

  • @gabe4766 for being "music Scum" you seem to go to great lengths to obtain their product

  • @gabe4766 What in the hell are you talking about? and why are you so mad? as far as I can gather from your incoherent babel is you download songs from youtube so that you don't have to support the scum who make the music you like? Am I right because this literally makes no sense why you are so passionate about downloading music that you would be telling people off because they want to actually buy music and support a band they like...

  • @marieishere . thanks to myspace and facebook, bands dont even need the record labels anymore, but many sell their souls to get fame quick. thats why u see so many cookie cutter pop bands that record companies have essentially created in a lab somewhere.

i love music, but im gonna continue to download. call me whatever you want

  • amazing<3 i'll make sure to get the album.

  • I am REALLY digging this. Amazing. Stephen Christian's voice is magic.

  • Wow, this sounds great. I really dig this song so far. Thank God I got a copy.Stephen Christian is really a musical genius.

  • Where'd you get the copy?

  • Itune store
