@Benjamanic there is a difference between playing great D and hacking... SMH Bowen was and always will be remembered as that dude who would intentionally injure players just for wins which is sad. @DesertTurtle760 i am not the greatest basketball player but i am a great defender. best advice i ever got defensively that i am stunned he didnt mention is when they have the ball. watch there stomach. its the last part of there body to move. if you watch the stomach no one will get by you with the ball no matter how good they are at making moves

Bruce what you play isn't defense, it's assault and battery.

@freshballa18: that's what it should feel like. A good defender should be getting away with whatever he can and pissing his man off. In a pickup game, most guys will force shots if they feel like they're getting D'd up by a scrub, which is what Bowen was aside from his defense. The only thing he could do offensively was hit a corner 3 now and then. The league favors scorers, so if Bowen didn't foul out of a game and still managed to limit his man than he earned his money.
