I discovered raw in 2007 and stayed high raw till last year when I started experimenting with 100% raw. I was injured in Feb this year and slowly started to eat more cooked foods due to some emotional pressures. I have just recently decided to do a 100% raw 30 Day Challenge with my best friend Rachelle :-)
Thank you for explaining. Then I guess I would fall under the high raw myself (which I think means mostly raw with some cooked) . It's my 4th day and I ate terribly before this but i was just diagnosed with PCOS and decided to follow a pretty strict change in diet to relieve my horrible symptoms (one of which is weight gain) The first 30 days are the hardest so your videos give me some inspiration :)
You know, I can see why you guys may have had a bit of fermentation issues after the raw party, if you are going by 80/10/10 and natural hygiene, there were many ingredients, as delicious as they look, that combined to cause fermentation (ie: mango and cashews, then all the kinds of veggies and even fruit (tomatoes). So perhaps when eating raw normally over the 30 days, try mono and simpler meals without so many combined ingredients with very different digestion rates..?
Not sure why you would associate raw food and 2012 with candida issues?? It was awesome information!! Not all the doomsday stuff - I'm totally NOT into that type of propaganda. It was very inspiring... The food was awesome too :)
lol we don't die according to the calendar. I had to do a 22 page research paper 2 years ago on the Mayan Calendar trust me, all it means is that in December of 2012 the calendar reaches 0 and restarts. The worst that will happen is the hemispheres will change or another ice age will occur...which according to past earth cycles we are do for an ice age!
From what I've learned (see: youtube's "mayan calendar explained") , there is a human consciousness evolution at the end of each cycle. All the more reason to eat raw. And I theorize it's what is bringing us to raw. It's all connected.
lol. well... you know you know fermented foods is still raw right? like ginger beer? i've made some ginger beers that are just as alcoholic as regular beers. no cooking involved
It'd be nice to think it's still raw, but just thinking about it, fermentation is a chemical reaction just like cooking food is. Therefore I would think alcohol unfortunately, would not be raw :(
Would I be able to do the colon cleanse and also drink freshly squeezed juice??? Or only water

I've watched a few of your videos over the past and I'm a bit confused. Do you go back and forth between Raw challenges and cooked food?

You poor things! Fasting and watching a doco on 2012! You must have had a nervous breakdown after that! Serious candida issues?

Is there any alcohol that's classed as 'raw food'?
According to the Mayan calender, we're all dead in a few years.... If that's the case, I think I might live it up!
