@darkmagickian the arrengements were done by Sir George Martin and the Bee Gees, it would have been pure magic if Robert Stigwood didn´t asked them to do it with disco elements.

This movie is ridiculous and i still love it, LOL!! Such a sign of the movies being produced between the mid to late 70's. Clearly we had really good weed back then lol. Listen to the demo, take 1, take 4, take 7, take 26. They're all beautiful versions sung by the master. It really is quite foolish to say that any other singer can sing this as good as Lennon. You should be locked up for saying such a thing.

The lyrics have a strong connection with his childhood, and some pop singer such as this could never sing it as powerfully.
There are several versions of Lennon singing this song. Take one is Lennon singing it in the same style as this woman, and he completely blows this out of the water.[ To compare either of those two people to John Lennon is laughable. No one can ever sing this song like Lennon. It is one of the songs truly identifiable with John Lennon.
When I said Pure Perfection. I was referring to Peter Frampton's beautiful face. He isn't singing the song. Although, I DO think that this version with Sandy Farina is WAY better than the Beatles. JMO!!!
This is and will remain John Lennon's song forever. To think someone like Sandy Farina or Peter Frampton can sing this song better than John Lennon is ridiculous and sad. This version isn't 1/1000th of the Beatles.
