what is the processor of your computer?

is that a P3?.. if yes,definitely your computer will boot for a long time but if your pc is having a P4, CORE DUO, QUAD CORE... it will be as fast as 10 seconds and below maybe 20 for P4..

yea dude... go to start>run>msconfig>startup>unc­heck all unwanted start up programs. also do it to all unwanted services but first check the box that hides all the microsoft systems so that you dont disable anything from microsoft.

You can also do this by using the msconfig command in the run line after clicking the start button and just choose programs to tell to not start up. I think I have a how to video on it, not sure though.

yes you can, but this is a solution for just one problem of many others causing computers to run slow. for best computer perfomace you have also to repair corrupted files and delete junk files such as files from removed programs.
