  • The bass is just so natural to this guy.

  • Better when a girl does it...

  • i dont think that is yu no offense, but even if it isnt, your facial espresion is awesome and goood stuff! :)

  • @MetalElf, you are right and wrong! Right about the J5 did not played intrstuments on their records! Wrong when you said that they just sung and dance! Tito and Jermaine had to learn every song the Motown musicans gave them, because they played them live at concerts! By 1974 the J5 produced their first record on their dad label called Ivory records, song Whats your game by MDLT Willis!

  • keep the videos coming

    they're awsome.

    you are AWSOME

  • you have rhythm, dude. keep it up! post more videos cuz i'm subscribing!

  • great groove and control of tone.

  • Nice job. Your video is one of the best with this song. A lot of people tend to rush it and can't stay in the groove.

How did you record the bass into the computer?

  • nice groove

  • now add dancing and singing and you realize how talented jermaine really is.

  • Actually, Wilton Felder played bass on the J5 recording in 1969. Not to take anything away from Jermaine, but Felder has long been regarded as one of the premier session bassists in the industry.

This was the first Motown hit to be recorded in LA with SoCal session players.

  • true, but jermaine played it live, which is what i was meant. thanks though!

  • just because they are holding a bass while dancing and singing; doesn't mean they are playing it. All the videos I've seen, he's clearly just holding it for looks and trying to look like hes playing it. I dunno if it was just the videos I saw or what, but it's a possibility he never REALLY played it.

  • @zepp1977 It was Wilton Felder who played the bass for this Jackson Five song, not Jermaine. As far as I know, the Jackson Five only sang and danced. I don't think Tito or Jermaine ever played on any of the Motown records while in the the Jackson Five.

  • @MetalElf in that reality show they did a year or so ago, he was playing live.

  • Definately the best cover of the song i've heard, 5 stars! well nailed,

and amazing tone from that jazz.

I also thought this was a Jamerson bassline?

  • Nailed it!!

  • nice fender

  • damn i wish my left hand was big as yours..

  • Nice play man:) Very tight. And a nice bass:D

  • hahaha, u make it look so easy.

  • @antifascistmilitant

    haha i know right!

he just chills as he does it.
