yo , yall know these foos had to be happy making these vids, which means they had to be high..LOL ... but who da hell knows the name of that gray muppet & that green one.... i think that green one was probably the og of the grouch crew. that foo was the original...
If only real life were as easy as this...it sucks that the only part of your life where you actually don't have any of the world's problems throwm on you is the shortest time in your life...Childhoon needs an extintion
How can this be promoting racism? It's saying that no matter your differences, we're all people and we're all equal.
Also, I think it is really moronic of you to be swearing on a video meant for children. I let my little brother watch videos of sesame street from when I was his age and I don't need him to be learning the vulgar phrases you have commented with. If you have nothing better to do than to promote fowl language to the population of people under 6, I suggest you get a life.
I don't know that either is funny. I think it's sad that you can't realize that toddler-geared media and art has historically had some very deep, fucked up meanings. Look at pretty much any nursery rhyme and you'll understand (hopefuly)
i watched a new sesame street the other day and it was all about how elmo can't throw a bowling ball. then it was elmo's world, that stupid thing is taking over!!
I know what you nean, The one episode of sesamestreet Cookie monster did the same, But he was cookie world, That was alittle better but still N.G. (no good). Just put all oldies back.
If I were to take a guess, maybe the reason why Elmo referred himself in the 1st person in this skit instead of the 3rd person (which he usually does) is because, the three other monsters were referring themselves in the 1st person and everything probably had to sound the same when the monsters were referring themselves.
This was before Elmo became a real character. He was used as a generic puppet since the 70s, and wasn't introduced as "Elmo" until 1985. This song was from 1980.
Yes, I remember seeing Elmo in the crowds with other monsters, and I remember seeing him singing songs in groups with other monsters. (I know that he sang a song with two other monsters where Prarie Dawn was singing a song about what a big girl she is and what she can do now by herself as a big girl which should couldn't do when she was very young). Since this song was from 1980 as you mentioned, I guess the first time I saw this skit was somewhere in the 1990s.
This is the re-dubbed version from 1986 or so, when Kevin Clash took over elmo's voice. The original was voiced by Brian Muehl...this skit dates from 1980/81.
They did it for the new childern from the late 80s and 90s (just like me). The Elmo in the late 90s and 2000s sounds alot different (and annoying) then the late 80s and 90s version.
one of thees monsters doesnt belong here.
guess?

Does the tall monster sound kinda like the voice of the alien (I forget his name) on "American Dad!"? Maybe it's just me.

Blue monster: Hey, you don't look like me.
Green monster: And you don't look like me.
Elmo: He doesn't look like elmo.
Gray monster:Yes we're all different but, we're all the same because we are all monsters.
*music starts*

Does anyone remember this sketch? It had a few monsters in it and it had some music that is similar to Some None and All.
No one remembers this sketch? 65 views and no replies. No one remembers this sketch? I'm stupified.
We are getting nearer nearer nearer
We are getting nearer nearer nearer
We are getting near, we're here

This is the Elmo I like! the un-annoying-doesn't refer-to-himself-as-the-third-party-old-school-Elmo.

Yeah I love the 90s Elmo too! (before annoying Elmo's World crap started). But I love the orignal version better with the quiet low voice Elmo.
