Amazing how so many people are ready to rip this guy yet you all sit behind a computer screen, probably sucking down Mt. Dews and eating Little Debbie snack cakes, trying to get up the energy to even play video games. But this guy is doing his best to give some decent advice, and while he may not look like Arnold, which only Arnold was able to do that, at least he is probably healthier than most who post here to criticize. Keep up the good work darrinclement. I applaude you.
@abyssmal26 - ha, no. Certainly if you were putting up insane poundage, you'd have to worry about those things. But even the strongest guys are usually using <100 lb dumbbells. The reason is simple: low ceilings. Ceilings too low to do standing. Of course you could do them sitting, but then you have different-but-still-bad issues for back and you get no core activation.
@187Stas - yeah, well good luck with that. I'm sure you will look amazing at 40 and you probably don't need to do any of the things I advise. Instead of trashing me, perhaps you could offer some advice so that other people here could benefit from what you do? I'm sure you are ripped and all, so give us some of your secrets.

Whats the point of kneeling in a shoulder exercise? Develop the shoulders and damage the lower back and knee cap?
