well i heard sum1 say that aer lingus is like BA at easyjet prices ! ive never flown BA or easyjet but ive always found aer lingus excellent with good prices , you do have 2 pay 4 extra baggage and onboard food but thats reasonble priced and they have new clean planes with comfy seats and good crews !!

no...its because the pilot chose to land in flap-3 config....you can land in airbus with either flaps 3 or flaps full (4). Flaps 3 is a higher speed landing and would be used at high density airport to rush more traffic down the line because an a320 landing flaps full would be down around the high 120 knot range whereas 777 and 747 are up around the high 130 low 140 knot range...so using flaps 3 minimizes the speed difference making it easier for sequencing.
