Yes, you're right. That's Dr. Connors. He's already missing an arm since he was first introduced in SPIDER-MAN 2.

I didn't notice it when I first saw the movie in 2004, but then after watching it some more I noticed that he only had one arm.

I like the part where the lizard knocks down the container containing the black symbiote. But the symbiote taking over the lizard? that's a little too much. i have a better idea, why don't we let the symbiote escape n' find cassidy wounded combine with his blood n' becomes a red symbiote hence carnage is born.

Huh, I almost forgot that Spiderman narrates at the beginning...yeah, that does get annoying after awhile. Is there really going to be a Spiderman 4? That's the big question... and...is there really going to be Lizard (or, whatever his name is) as the villain? If it's true, then that's pretty awesome! :D
