  • I wanna have a trade with you but I dont have any polymer clay or we can trade kawaii stuff

  • do you have to paint the charms, or did you put food colouring in to the cold porcelain to make new colours?

  • is it squishy??

  • @hala111354 nope, its really hard

  • i LOVE the charms!

  • @TheKawaiiClayCafe Try using crayola markers.. Just mark the actually marker on the CP and it will rub off! It's really cool!

  • does the basic cold porcelain dry clear?

  • adorable!

  • umm when i color my cold porcalain with my acrylic paints it always ends up wayyyyyy lighter than the acctual color of the paint and dries that way too but when i add more color to the cold porcalain the clay gets too sticky to work with... how do you get yours colored that way????

  • @TheKawaiiClayCafe you can add more corn starch and paint until the consistency is how you like it

  • i love cold porcline charms im on my dads profile

  • its cheaper to make cold porcelain. especially around back to school time cuz you can get glue for so cheap

  • hahaha its easy if you guys make it!! i just made mines today and it came out GREAT

  • Need to wait how long forr them to dry and harden? ^^

  • where do u buy cold porcilin

  • @7SuperCuteLps

you can buy it at your local craft store like joanns or michaels and even hobby lobby

  • if you buy cold porcelain at michaels, which area/aisle can you find it in?

  • @princesshottie45631

you should be able to find it in the clay area..

  • do they glow in the dark??

  • @PolarBear551

    no!!!!

  • i love the cold porcelain charms!

    it looks translucent XD

  • *what

  • Is translucent like glass clear or whar

  • those charms aren't bad

  • Can you use cold porcelain with polymer clay?

  • @Muusicnote no because u bake polymer clay and porcelain is airdry

  • I LIKE YOUR CHARMS !!!

I WISH I COULD MAKE EM LIKE YOU :(

  • I think that your charms are great with cold porceline.

  • Not sure if someone else already answered this, but; the natural color of cold porcelain is actually a translucent color once it dries, despite it looking white while conditioning and such. You have to add acryllic paint to make it any color, including white.

  • @CharmieBee You have to add paint BEFORE glazing it :)

  • Did you air dry them.? how much were they

  • Those are absolutely adorable

  • @CharmieBee did you bake it. I wanna make homemade but i don't wanna get my house on fire :)

  • When it's dry, does it break easily?

  • @SuperVivzzz nope, it is as hard as baked polymer clay :)

  • glaze it it will look better

  • is cold porcelain like air dry clay or does it turn really hard?

  • @mrfluffyunicorn3

cold porcelain is air dry clay, and when it dries, it becomes very hard :)

  • @mrfluffyunicorn3 It is air dry clay and it turns hard. It takes about 2-3 days

  • no, ur charms look really good. y did i say "sorry if u dont think they look good"

  • is the result of cold pocelain clay extremely hard like a oven baked sculpey clay creation? pls answer! :)

  • how long did it take to dry

  • @cutebluesky155

cold porcelain takes about 3 days to dry :)

  • Do you make your own cold porcelain or you buy it?

  • @xxcationxx she made it, watch the vid on how she made cold porcelain

  • @CharmieBee waiiiit. u made cold porcelain. and then u glazed it? did u make it into a charm? :O and also, did the glaze DRY before you added paint? (:

  • can u please tell me if its better than polymer clay? im thinking of switching to cold porcelain because its inexpensive sense u can make it urself... so in ur opinion (if uve ever used it) which one is better?

  • @HeartButerfly polymer clay. less crackley and lasts longer

  • How do you glaze them? do you buy the glaze or do you make it? their all so cute! >.<;

  • does cold porcelain ever get mold?

  • they r not bad the r soooo cute

  • my cold porcelain turns brown sometimes.. maybe it didnt fully dry ?

  • @Hellokittygurrlll buy from craft stores / make yourself o-o im new to this too just helping out as much as i can

  • @polymerandmore No I think you color it with acrylic paint before baking

  • @SHUZOBUS i dont think you bake it o-o do you? cause isnt it air dry

  • @iColorX3 i dont know if you bake or not, but youcolor before baking or drying, whichever

  • Those are sooo cute! :D I heard that cold porcelain doesn't pick up dust like polymer clay does, is that true?

  • I cant even stick the cold porcelain together, so I tried using craft glue. But it wont really stick well... How do you make your cold porcelain stick so well?

  • @TiffanyJessicaSnsd same it just doesnt stick and drops when i stick it together..

  • Do u bake cold porcelain

  • @JesusLoves000 No, it air-dries.

  • If you add some white acrylic paint to your mixture when it is cold and ready to leave overnight after cooking then it wont be translucant but opaque white, the same goes for any other colour like blue, red etc. Just add some acrylic paint :3 xx

  • Cool! But I got Green and White colour only... ):

  • Comment removed

  • mine came out white................. strange!

  • how come when i glaze my porcelain clay it cracks ? answer please :)!

  • @d0ughnut81898 im sorry i dont know. maybe u need to wait until it dries completely so it doesnt shrink and crack the glaze. maybe thats why. so wait 1 week before glazing :]

  • @jellyfishcharms ohhh i glazed it right after thats why it cracked , thanks for the tip~ :)

  • @jellyfishcharms did you use your homemade cold porcelain for these charms?

  • @jellyfishcharms can you use clear nailpolish to glaze it

  • @d0ughnut81898 it could also be because you added too much glaze

  • @d0ughnut81898 Ohh! When I glaze my porcelain clay it cracks too! I found out that you need to wait until it's completely dry. Also, when you glaze it, put a very thin layer of the glaze on it or else it'll crack. Also, do not put more than one layer. If you want to put more than one layer, then wait for about 30 minutes (like how it says on the directions) until you apply another layer.

  • @MightySkittles thank you!

  • @d0ughnut81898 No problem! :]

  • @d0ughnut81898 well, cold porcelain isnt THAT good, so i suggest you use polymer clay.

most likely it cracked because you didnt add enough of an ingredient or you havent been keeping it in a good place. wrap it in plastic wrap and then put it in a ziplock baggy.

  • do you bake it

  • @KiKiKli004 um no the point of cold porceline is that it dries it self u dont need to bake it

  • They came out nice

  • HI! i had a question. when u put the eye pins in to make them into charms, did the area around the pin change color? the cold porcelain that i made does that and i can't figure out what's wrong.

  • @erickav808 eeerrrmmmm maybe it mould??

  • These charms are adorable.

  • how much will your handmade cold parcelain shrink after it dries? cause i'm so intense to try your recipe (: Thanks!~

  • can i color the cold porcelain with tempera colored powder paint while i'm mixing all the ingredients to make it together? if that makes sense...

  • Please answer. When ever I make something out of homemade coldporcelain, it cracks, but only when I add paint :\ I have tried watercolour and acrylic paint, do you know what I can do? Thanks :)

  • @HandmadeKawaii96 i dunno. my cold porcelain never cracked ever :/

  • @jellyfishcharms Awww you're so lucky :L I'll just keep asking round then, thanks (:

  • @jellyfishcharms do you bake cold porcelain?

  • @HandmadeKawaii96 Same here and it smells REALLY bad :L

  • @HandmadeKawaii96 Have you tried using oil paints? I think the problem with your cold porcelain is that you haven't used enough oils. I use some olive oil with mine; sometimes essential oils such as lemon; and I make my cold porcelain with corn starch or rice flour. I make sure that when I make it when I roll it into a ball on my hands it kind of flattens out. If you do that then you'll have time to work the clay without it drying out. When its too dry and you work with it it'll actually crack.

  • @HandmadeKawaii96 The reason why it's cracking is because it's not fully cooked, it's too dry (overuse of corn starch), or it dried in the process of being left out~

Don't worry!~ I've learned through trial and error. To prevent the cracking, you can either add a little glue or mix with a moist piece of cold porcelain.

    >w< I hope this helps you~

~HimeLane (Hime means princess in Japanese~

  • @HandmadeKawaii96 Try painting your cold porcelain after it dries (:

  • Does anybody no were u can get cold porcelain

  • where can you get cold porcelain?

  • @bethandolivia1 online, or make your own.

  • @bethandolivia1 My Micheals has cold porcelain.

  • is cold porcelain that clay that is a little squishy when it dries?

  • @lolgirl1rocks no, not at all. it dries rock hard. the only clay that is squishy is bouncy putty, and i dunno where to get that. cold porcelain is definitely not squishy. harder than polymer clay, even.

  • @jellyfishcharms you can MAKE squishy clay

  • @lolgirl1rocks model magic dries a bit squishy

  • The cold porcelain is trasluscent, you have to paint it with oil paint. I work with cold porcelain since 18 years ago.

  • @jellyfishcharms I made some of my own but none of it sticks ! When it dried it comes off :( If i do a simple cupcake the bottom comes off. Is thier ANY way to get it not to stick? ~Alexis

  • Good job!

Add some white acrylic paint to it while raw to get it white.

Mix a pinch into the raw clay.

  • O so Eh not rly special p(^_^)q

  • I know it's diff but does it dry quicker or is it easier to condition or is it just the same

  • @inuyashaloverforeve1 polymer clay doesnt air dry........ u bake it....... u dun really havta condition cold porcelain, but its kinda mushy ><

  • @jellyfishcharms how long does it bake for and what temp for the oven?

  • @pincluv no the cold porcelain wuz awesum xD

  • these are really good, i love the bunny eating a carrot! and it's translucent cause if it's handmade it's probably the natural color. The one i sent you is white so the cold porcelain will be white after it dries.

  • @CuteTanpopo um ya i think i like both polymer clay and cold porcelain :) i mean they r SOOOOOOOO different.
