im a guy but im really looking forward to this years world cup, i think a lot of these players kelly smith in particular, if placed in the england mens team could easily become first choice players. hopefully the world cup this year gives moe publicity to womens football cuz thats what it really deserves.

I don't get why there aren't professional females playing alongside men yet. Not just football, but using it as an example: surely the best female footballers in the world are better than some men playing professionally in the lower leagues? You can get some real plodders in the bottom flight, past their peak, too old to play the 90 minutes, I can't believe a fit, talented young woman with everything to prove wouldn't be a better choice, why aren't women hammering on the doors of these clubs?
