  • Great News!!!!!!

  • hotep I love your video, and every person of color should build up, and buy black, put the money back into our community so black encomics, can grow, and flourish.

  • Thats good!!!! We are the #1 consumers!!! We need to use that power to support our own!

  • DPVN at the heart of your business and a beet away from your destination.

  • I'm posting black owned places to eat at in Chicago. Follow me @BlackEatsInChi

  • Now I believe this is a wonderful thing I try a much as possible but I started a while back when I noticed other "Ethnic Folk" support their own.

So it's not racism, its family finally realizing things are not what they used to be and that we CAN love a support each other we are doing this to put other people down but to hold and keep ourselves up. Later'z

  • Excellent Idea!!!

  • SEE US ON TWITTER: EENation

  • Great message! Are you on twitter?

  • keep it up ya'll!!!

  • Its good to see so action being taken by blacks for blacks.......but if the businesses they invest in are not doing the same by taking those black dollars and reinvesting into other black business it will not change the economic situation of black people. It can work if everyone is involved, China has been doing this for years that's why they dominate the black hair care products industry by 97% and the United States is in debt with them because they only invest in themselves!!

  • Actually, it is Korean businesses that have found a way to dominate Black hair care products in America.

  • Love it!!! Supporting black businesses is critical for today and tomorrow's next generation of leaders.

  • This is another example of action over mere words.

  • I wish that all black people could see the value in this and follow suit. This is an effort that is long over due. there is nothing racist about it since this is what the majority of race's do. calling this and other such efforts racist is just silly and is getting old. black people do what needs to be done and let people say what they are going to say.

  • What more can be said? This is what Br. Malcolm, Garvey and many others have been yelling at us forever...it seems.

  • CONGRATULATIONS

All over the world, Chinese, Hebrew, Indians etc "create" their own towns wherever they are in order to establish their own Economic Activities and Independent ECONOMIC POWER.The Negro should do the same.

Money earned by a Negro should be spent on buying only Negro products and services otherwise the Negro will continue enriching other peoples who crush them under an Economic pyramid.

To be independent and powerful ECONOMICALLY,buy Negro, live Negro, eat Negro and dress Negro.

  • My postion is two-fold: I believe that it would be a better strategic plan to help black business learn how to be businesses that are black owned. In order for a black business to be sustainable and viable, its market has to embrace a much larger snapshot, its product or service cosistently reaching for the benchmarks of excellence. Second, there needs to be a way to determine whether my dollars spent on goods, services from a black business will not result in poor quality or victimization.

  • Excellent work!! I'm so inspired by brothers and sisters like these. I'm beginning to see that supporting black businesses is a central cornerstone in the health and strength of our communities.

  • Buying Black is real when we are buying products imported direct from manufacturers and producers by Black owned importers and distributed via Black owned wholesalers and retailers. Black wholesalers/retailers must cut out the middlemen. Chinese, Italians, Mexicans, Koreans import from their fatherland control retail/wholesale and recycle their wealth in their communities! This is the power of ethnic money recycling whether Black White Yellow or Brown! If Black people do it - they cry racism!

  • Sad but true, when this project was brought up on a messageboard I frequent, plenty of people bellyached about this being racist. They don't have a clue and its almost not worth explaining to them. As a friend of mine said, in many cases we just have to do it and forget about what critics think.

  • As an outspoken advocate of giving Black owned bussinesses an opportunity to provide us with services is paramount to our collective economic condition moving forward. If we don't begin to understand the power in recycling our money we risk becoming a permanent economic underclass in the very near future. This experiment must become as natural as breathing amonst Black people. We must embrace this collective consiousness to achieve both political and economic power.

  • You all are amazing. I have been following you all since lat last year. I am ever inspired and will continue to share your work with all those I know! Forward Ever.

  • It's amazing how this decision by one black family gets coverage like this. Other communities have been doing this for decades. This is nothing new for them, it's sad that it's something newsworthy for our people.
