Proflowers is a complete rip-off. The flowers were advertised for $19.99. They don't show you the shipping and handling costs until AFTER you put your credit card in and confirm your purchase. They have ridiculous costs. My order ended up being well over $50 becuase they have sunday shipping which was around $19.99 then another handling cost around $5 plus tax. They also refused to return my purchase; in the fine print it says no returns. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! HUGE RIP-OFF!!
I got these boxed flowers last Valentine's from my boyfriend. How unromantic. Half the flowers never opened and the other half were wilted and dead. and I had to put it together myself - much as I tried it still looked horrible. I had to hide mine because the other girls in the office had these beautiful big rose arrangements and I had this embarrassing cheap looking "thing".
"Fresh from the fields"? Fresh from storage in various cities across the U.S. Sometimes sitting in storage for days. And if you're sending to the frigid cold areas, note most national delivery trucks have no heat. Flowers freeze easily and quickly below 32F.
Use a local florist who will deliver directly to your loved one and place it in their hands.
Order from a real florist, don't send a box of dead flowers from Pro flowers that she has to clean, process and arrange herself. What a blatent dumb commercial!!!

Unarranged flowers out of a cardboard box- how romantic- god forbid you live in a cold climate as they then arrive frozen too!

Sure, send Mom a gift that says: "I'm too cheap to pay for skilled labour."
Next Christmas I'll just send her a tree branch and tell her it's a new coffee table.
