How do you like this bass? Is it better to a squier jazz bass?

@bordinco90 that´s my second bass. i can´t really tell you if is better cause i didnt have the chance to play the squier in a pro gig, but th sx is a good bass for its price

To call someone a beast is a compliment, implying that you are like a wild animal in your skill and/or determination in a certain field. I agree, you're pretty good at bass and even though this is an "affordable" bass it sounds better than a lot of Fender jazz basses

faz um tempo q troquei, acho q foi R$250.

olha man, antes de pensar em investir grana nos caps, sugiro q vc mande o baixo em um luthier bom de verdade.

esse baixo bem regulado talvez vc nem sinta necessidade de trocar os caps.

Cara, na verdade eu já mandei no luthier que regula meus baixos há mais de 5 anos. Fiz revisão toda nele, retifica de trastes, oitavas e blablabla e tá com cordas novas. Mesmo assim ainda sinto falta de um som mais definido, mais quente, saca? Mas valeu pela dica... Acho que vou explorar mais o potencial dos caps originais e ver o que é melhora fazer. isso, aí se vc ver q não tem mais jeito pesquise outros caps.

esse que está no meu é um Cabrera Hot Tone. há várias opções de cap, mas nenhuma faz milagre, tá ligado? por isso é importante vc perceber as qualidades e deficiencias dele com os caps originais p vc ter certeza do que quer mudar.

Claro, claro. Mas realmente mudou bastante depois que eu troquei cordas (pq as originais são ridículas, pra não falar outra coisa hehe) e mandei regular todo o resto. Vou fazer isso sim. E parabéns mais uma vez. Muito legal teu som. Abraços!!
