V3... the only version that produced 300ps aprox. version 4 & 3 share the ej20k engine however the the v4 in no where near the v3 sti... in terms of power output ;)

the version 5&6 have an ej207 engine which is not bad.. this 2 versions that came on 99 & 00 have a stronger gearbox and a few other stuffs in "suspension" that makes them handle a bit better compared to the older v3 and v4 sti...

k i have sti type r coupe never tried it flat out .but have 106 gti n i ate a gt4 celica on motor way pulled bout 2 car lengths ahead n passed m at 125 n climbed up ta 139 mph

Nice acceleration, i have a wrx jdm with the same dashboard except  the "sti" sign also going to 7500 rpm but mine does 115 kph on second gear boosting 1.4 bar
