Her voice reminds me of a sort of cross between Edie Brickell and Sophie B.Hawkins - two immensely talented but underrated singers. I would love to hear her sing Brickell's "Circle of Friends". Katie would open a few eyes with that one.

@WeezySilviu Don't agree with your opinion of Katie but I have to say that you're spot on in your assessment of Aiden. If he want's to progress he needs to abandon that stage fright real quick. I think Aiden would be better off as a lead singer in a band, at least the presence of the others would be reassuring to him and he wont see himself as the only goldfish in the bowl, but he does need to shape up pretty quickly and he also needs to hone his singing ability as well. Got lots of Love for Katie regardless of public opinion. She's a trained rather than a natural singer but prejudices, poor song choices by her mentor and a frenzied media backlash have contributed to her not having had a fair opportunity to demonstrate her patent talent. Like any of the finalists save Wagner, she doesn't need to win the competition to be able to forge a career in music, she's already done enough and this was a watershed performance for her in this competition. Give her a chance.

Sorry but Katie can't sing. She can't hold a note to save her life. This video proves it. Every single word lasts a second because if she tries to hold the note her voice cracks. This was the problem she had at the judges house (and at all the auditions before that).

I think this was a great performance for a change. Some weeks her voice has broken down, but now she showed us a broad range in her singing, without her voice failing. Secondly, she kept true to the original song, while putting a twist of her own to it. So tonight she deserves to go through, but I think people just hate her too much to vote for her.
