Anything taken from a satellite source is stretched. Everything else is true 16:9, with HD graphics. The cameras should be HD by the middle of the year. It's like that at a lot of stations that broadcast in HD, studio cameras and graphics are true HD, while the field cameras are 16:9 SD.
What does it mean widescreen? if i had a regular TV, do i see the news like that? Is Channel 7 in HD?

It means the screen is in 16x9, tis the image is wider than the regular screen. And no for the next two.

They now have HD cameras for the studio, they are pretty much on par with other station around the country who have HD newscasts.
