  • He's a natural at 1:05

  • which rice should i use? brown or basmati ?

  • @VinceF19 long toss is great for your arm it builds strength

  • visit "swing strengthener. com

  • Steve Carlton used to do this

  • great stuff, my personal and absolute favorite hand grip exercise is the farmers walk. to this day nothing has made my hands stronger than the farmers walk.

  • wow this is very interesting ! thumbs up =)

  • I tried the rice workout lasted a week then I ate the rice

  • @sjgiants12 raw?...did you cook it?

  • Ive never seen this done before.

i'm assuming this is designed for hand streangth? Definietly an overlooked aspect of the game(hand strangth). We use to carry around stress balls in class and just constantly work on hand streangth, didnt help w the grades but are hands got stronger. This is either very old school or very new school cause I've never seen it done before. Looks interesting, not 100% confident about it yet but Vanderbilt has a good program so somebody there knows wht their sayin

  • Its funny to see all these different points of view on how baseball training should be executed (However everyone in this comment blog is completely incorrect). Don't make claims on less they have been proven extensively with scientific research.

Moving on, the rice bucket basically sucks. How does it improve flexibility, transfer or power, or reactive strength. Hell, it's not even good for terminal strength building.

  • Why does the first guy have his shirt off...?

  • @incendia100 to turn you on................why would someone even notice that? I had to go back and watch it again, by the way, that was actually the second guy...........when you count, you want to start with the number, 1 then 2 then 3 and so on. Practice this a little and you'll begin to see a pattern. There, are you pissed at me yet?

  • @MrStitch105

Not pissed. You must be the guy without his shirt.

  • llong toss ruins mechanics?? no.. poor long toss mechanics ruin mechanics... idiot

  • @VinceF19 get a grip on yourself, kid.

  • everyone one is an expert at saying what is wrong for pitchers shut up and let them work

  • wrong the best workout for a pitcher is throw ALOT of long toss thats how you increase throwing speed and your arm strength so you can pitch 100 instead of 80 before getting tired

  • actually long toss messes up pitching mechanics so most coaches advise you not to do long toss

  • hmm yes if you do it wrong why on earth otherwise would pro pitchers to it before games and other times besides to get warmed up and build arm strength

  • I know it looks goofy but it really does work. You'd be surprised how after even a month your forearms, fingers, grip and stabilizers muscles in general just get really strong. Plus, it's cheaper than dumbells - lol

  • lol I guess here in Japan it shouldn't be to hard to get some heck lotta rice..haha

  • Throwing at max effort with muscular or joint weakness is not a good idea. Baseball pitching puts the shoulder in a very unnatural state already. Increasing one's shoulder strength and mobility will minimize injuries and improve performance. An injured star pitcher is as valuable as a 3rd string pitcher.

  • i m not gonna eat that if it got cooked
