  • In my top 3 best songs ever. Made all the better by the wonderful DCB

  • "Let thy goodness, like a fetter,

Bind my wandering heart to thee"

    Too true twoo hoo!

  • Ahhhhhhhh, he sang "interposed". :'D I like hearing the older version. <33

  • This makes me proud to be a christian one of those great songs!

  • 23 people need prayer? haha... all of us need prayer.

  • @VonHydenDaKeizer Definitely!

  • Amen.

  • The biggest wish of my heart is to know the Lord and to walk in His steps. Whatever it takes, God, take me and never let me go. I wish to do His will and I'm ready to get rid of whatever it takes, whatever worldliness I'm allowing into my life to live the life that at least a little reflects the love God has for us.

  • 10/11/11/

  • John 3:5 makes it clear that its impossible to enter into the Kingdom of God without being born of water and of the Spirit. To learn exactly what this means, please check out the scribd website that is listed on my channel.

  • I'm not a God freak or whatever, but I love this song. I first heard when I was ta Youth Group with my friend.

  • @linnay54

's okay to be a freak for God :-)

  • This song is now stuck in my head lol I love the music and words, the guy just sounds...weird. :/ Lol not to mean I love David Crowder Band, just this sounds a little odd..

  • I love this song i heard it for the first time this summer at a church camp and wow its so amazing but thats Gods love reaching you eventhrough something as small as a song.

  • are all your videos christian?

    love this song!

  • @iloveGod313 Yep.

  • Umm....I'm pretty sure that's not David Crowder. Though I could very easliy be wrong. It just doesn't sound exactly like him and it's not the Crowder version that I have. But I do love this song. :)

  • Here's my lucky charms, take and seal it

  • I think we should take the time to gather together as God's church never ceasing in prayer. Could you please pray for me that the glory for the name of Jesus would be the passion of my heart, and that he would bring my lost friends to him for the glory of his name, I know others have the same prayer and I'm willing to do the same.

"Prone to wander Lord I feel it

Prone to leave the God I love

Here's my heart Lord, take and seal it"

  • @r0cl9nk jesus PLease God help r0 in her struggles i pray that you will help her be an effective witness to her friend and that r0 be a someone after your own heart Jesus! Amen

  • "Here's my life lord take it seal it," these words have more meaning than we know.

  • i love God and Christ

  • Comment removed

  • needs a slower tempo in my opinion

  • "Here's my life Lord"

  • since when did david crowder have an irish accent?

  • I love this song, it's on my ipod :) it's so sweet

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

  • What's with the fake Irish accent?

  • Beautiful... <3

  • He...He sounds Irish xD

  • For anyone who is looking for a biblical explanation of the gospel and salvation, I would highly recommend checking out the scribd website that is listed on my channel. The scripture references given on there make it very clear and easy to understand.

  • I Love U so much Jesus.... I hope U can hold my Father, my Sister, my Grand Fa and my Grand Ma in your heaven.....

  • Ugh, this hymn was perfect without drums, butchered it in my opinion. I'm not a huge hymn fan but come thou fount is perfect in its original form.

  • @Andrew33416 The drums, and music, are peripheral. What really matters is the lyrics so it's not really possible to "butcher" a hymn. Even sung poorly with a joyful heart, it is music to God's ears.

  • @essel09 I'm afraid you are talking about 2 different issues. A hymn is a musical genre with certain lyrical and musical arrangement. As you said, praise from the heart using any instrument or music style is what counts.

  • @palmtreelink @palmtreelink It DOES matter how we worship. The reason God put so much detail in how to build what to build using what materials for his Holy of Holy Places and his Ark was because He has His own specific way in which we can approach Him.This is a great read. Praying for you brother (:

Google: "Do the Words we use in Worship matter? Glenn Packiam" and you'll see a deeper explanation in why I and many other Reformed Christians believe this.

  • @howieeekim I sort of disagree with you...Worship is the response to the glory of God...and that can come in many different ways..from sitting there and just listening to bringing out your guitar in your room alone and playing not ever saying a word...just listening to him...Everyone has there way of worship as long as its sincere is what matters. But I do see where your coming from. And I read Glenn Packiam and to be honest...the way he is spinning things just looks crazy to me..No offense.

  • @Andrew33416 With all respect intended, this is what he does. I'm not a fan of some of his arrangements, including this one, but hey, that's just Crowder. It's his flavor. If it has a waltz feeling (3/4, etc.) then either Crowder wrote it or it's something he will eventually arrange. It's very, very Crowderesque. Haha, "Crowderesque"...I'll have to start using that more often. Peace!

  • Oh thank you Jesus. One of my favourite hymns. I pray it touch your heart like it did mine!

  • one of my fav hyms =) just wonderfull

  • DCB is so awful

  • @dtschm14 Please post your rendition of the song for comparison. Thanks!

  • @LoneLawMan

Do whatever the spirit leads you to! Ecclesiastes 3:4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance.

This song is overflowing with the power of the spirit, in a world full of contemporary music, I love when people sing hyms, such as this one. In alot of the old hyms the lyrics are so much further scripture based and they are just awesome!

  • Love this song! Thumbs up if you came here after watching "Love Comes Softly" :)

  • this sounds irish? hahaha<33 DCB

  • there might be god, but u believe in him too much. i think he have some feelins too leave him in peace for once

  • @MrStasko ...What?

    God bless lol.

@ the song, I'm more into worship music but this would be nice to hear on a drive home from a good day :)

  • one of my fav songs!!!God is so gracious and mericful!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 15 people like Pantera.

  • On my channel, I have a website listed that really does a good job of explaining the gospel and salvation. Its the scribd one (for any who are interested).

  • lÒl_I_fêÈl_sô_lôNËly_tØdÁY

  • @BabiaaAnaaa60 God is there in your loneliness with open arms at all times ready for you to fall into them

  • Red Letter Hymnal has a great version of this song too

  • wow it is the pop version bor.....

  • Lol look at all these twats commenting on this video. This version sucks. David crowder and his band suck. But then again, almost all Christian songs suck

  • @DarthOreoz It's weird to search out a song just so you can piss on it. Typical trolling. Here's the thing, you're right about Christian music. Generally, contemporary Christian music is garbage. This song, on the other hand, is a wonderfully powerful piece that transcends the boundaries of differing beliefs and stirs up a pretty stunning physiological response in people. Objectively, it's a wonderful tune.

p.s., I hope you see the irony in calling someone a twat when your opening is "lol".

  • @DarthOreoz You must like this song at least a little if you are commenting on it. but I hope you can look past the music and really look at the words and see how great God is and how great your need is for Him.

  • I'm so excited to know more of God! I want to get to know him so much more!

  • I loved this video very much. It touched me, and i like the music that the words are being sung to.

  • It's almost as if he adopted a slight irish accent on this song for some reason...

  • 15 people need prayer.

  • @Ethan10cp The hole world needs prayer.

  • @Ethan10cp no, 7 billion people need prayer, friend.

  • Okay... where is the Love button? This song is so powerful!

  • 15 people must be def or can't remember how to press 'like'

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • I just LOOOOOVE this song and he did such a great job on it! Great video for it too! :)

  • For anyone who may be searching for a biblical understanding of the gospel and salvation, I would highly recommend checking out the scribd website that is listed on my channel.

  • *them :D

  • its awsome how they capture the meaning of this song <3 and keep it still kind of hymn like...you know? in a way it kinda sounds like irish music too lol even though they are all from wako texas :P i applaude the :D

  • i think i broke the replay button... oh and possibly all those views yea half of them might be mine..

  • @LoneLawMan who said you had to do one of the other? lol

    how bout both

  • I only wish someone else was singing =(

  • Our nation needs music like this now, and Praise Be to God!

Lord, help us heal, help us love, and, I don't know what else to ask.

Save us from this destructive path!

There is a better way, and we your children are BEGGING YOU GOD, SHOW US THE PATH OF LIGHT!

Enough of the suffering, violence and death!

MY GOD, WE HAVE WANDERED SO FAR! WE NEED YOUR PATH, YOUR WISDOM!

I don't question your Love, God.

But Your Children are awaiting a Sign to set us right.

    PLEASE HELP US!!!

    - Brian

  • @jeep1234567890 I completely agree. I am going to Johnson Bible College as a way to try to change what is wrong now and show people that they need to be radical in their faith like Jesus called us to do. Like in Luke 9 with the story of the three men who wanted to follow Jesus we need to do those things and not many of us are that radical.

  • @cmathislee I say "supernatural" is the better word. God wants us to be a supernatural, set apart people but many in the US churches don't meditate and allow the scriptures to sink into their being and transform them. It's like they just refuse to think spiritually.

  • "Here's my heart Lord, take and seal it

Seal it for Thy courts above"

    I love you Lord:)

  • @LoneLawMan Both!!

  • I am ever so slightly distraught that David Crowder Band does not sing the hymn in its entirety, but still grateful that the hymn's beauty is intact in the way the group performs this wonderful piece! :D

For complete lyrics of the original hymn...

  • This song gives me chills! <3

  • @LoneLawMan Dance while weeping. :] With joy because Jesus loves us. Oh so much. And it's so amazing.

  • The music is too loud.

  • @excatholics You have the ability to turn down your speakers. The music isn't too loud. You lack the good sense to adjust your speakers accordingly.

  • @SugarCane88

I used to be in the music industry, so I can tell you that this recording is poorly mixed down.

  • 15 people don't want the Fount of Every Blessing to come

  • it's such a beautiful song

  • @LoneLawMan

Lets weep and dance at our Father's feet together, my brother.

  • ♥♥♥Beautiful song! Love his voice!♥♥♥

  • Thank-you Jesus.........The Earth bows to your glory the rocks sing out....Praise You!!!!!!The oceans cry for you with the whales.....your saints dance and salute.......please come take us home!!!!!

  • God is Great!!!.. Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear (Isaiah 59:1-2).

  • it's so beautiful...praise God

  • Favorite hymn ever! Beautiful lyrics. Also, love the flowers they're lovely :)

  • such a great song, I want to praise god with it every moment of my life

  • what key is this in?

  • @nealplaysviolin d major :)

    chords are d, a, g, d for first 2 lines, 3rd line is bm, a, bm, d

then 4th line is same as first two :)

  • @samfalco8 thats the original, crowder raises it a whole step (capo 2), so its e b a e

    uncapoed

  • I walk away from all rules and regulations and wholly embrace the Lord. I joyfully endure the suffering of this world for the transformation of righteousness gained from relationship with my Heavenly Father. Father, please fill my cup and help me to kill the old self each and every day and allow the new self, your adopted son, to reach purity and holiness. I can't contemplate why you move me the way you do. But I gladly take up this cross every morning.

  • The Gaelic voice and the song will be our welcome when we arrive in Heaven. I got no proof, but I feel it in my heart! Peace all!

  • @GamerFTW21 Come Thou Fount was written by Robert Robinson and credited as being arranged by John Wyeth in 1758 and 1813 respectively.

  • I absolutely love this song! It came on today in the car and me, my mom and my sister all started singing along with it. O the memories! :)

  • What a beautiful song this is! Amen! Praise God ! Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins. :) It is by your grace that we are saved Lord, and not by our own works. Thank you thank you thank you Father for your conditional and love.

  • If you accept Jesus into your life as your savior, then sin, what happens then? Do I have to ask him again to save me? Or turn away from the sin and not do it again? or both?

  • @bifftannen84

The sin goes away :) Ephesians 2:8 and John 3:16.

  • @bifftannen84 tell the LORD what you've done (of course he already knows) and ask for forgiveness.... he'll forgive you don't worry!! =]

  • Bind my wandering heart to Thee

Prone to wander Lord I feel it

Prone to leave the God I love

Here's my heart Lord, take and seal it

Seal it for Thy courts above

  • BEAUTIFUL SONG. I love the words. Note that the BEST and only accurate version of the Bible is the KJV. All the other translations come from denominations that want to change the truth of God. Google it.. You will be amazed at what you learn

  • @Kathytnss

I'm sorry that you think that. It's very judgmental of you to make such an assertion and I hope you don't look down upon people who use other translations. If you took the time to learn Greek and purchased a Greek/English Bible you would see that what you have just said is incredibly false. Please reconsider next time you think to condemn other translations blindly.

  • @fulaftrbrnr Like I said, do the research. Look up westcot and hort and the alexandrian manuscript. All the other versions change the original text to support their own doctrine. I do not judge people, I judge truth.

  • @Kathytnss I've heard of such theories before... a good friend of mine has his PhD in Hermeneutics from Biola and wrote his dissertation on the extent of discrepancies between various translations, including the original Greek and Hebrew texts and found very minimal discrepancies between the original manuscripts and modern versions like ESV, NIV, KJV, etc. Of course The Message, NLV, etc openly take poetic license in their translating, but there are no doctrinal distortions to be found... Sorry!

  • @fulaftrbrnr There are many with PhDs that are mis-informed. Sorry. Doctrines like creation, the Trinity and the deity of Christ are certainly distorted in the different versions. We needed to examine the scriptures prayerfully and with a true heart.

  • @Kathytnss For accuracy of the KJV; Which version of the KJV version are you talking about. The 1611 or the 1769 version? Even the KJV has revisions. Also, what are you basing the perfect accuracy on? Any language to language translations can mean different things. The bible was not originally written in English, it was Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. Also, which version are you comparing the Greek to, there are different regions manuscripts can be found?

  • You do have to accept Him as the Lord of your life, but that's not it. You also HAVE to be baptized to be saved and have eternal life. Mark 16:15

  • @Allanon007 I understand what Christ said in Mark16:15 but I have to disagree with you. Get a good commentary and you will see that baptism has nothing to do with the remission of sin. What about the thief on the cross? He wasn't baptised but has eternal life? Please don't take this as a personal attack, for that is not what it is, I just don't agree that one needs to be baptised to go to heaven. I am born again and baptized, just thought I would represent the Southern Baptists viewpoint.

  • I really enjoyed this. Instruments are wonderful....

  • this song is so awesome!

  • @charizard8989 I will pray for you! God bless you! Good luck on your journey with Christ!!

  • thanks for sharing!

  • It's So Joyous To Know Tha We Can Be Sealed To Our Spouse, Our Children, And To Our Family And Live Together Forever On God's Celestial Shore. Praise God! <3

  • @watda411 That is dependant on each of you following Jesus, I have a friend who thinks cause her mom is in heaven...she is assured of going there...whether she lives in sin, drinks and lies or not !! I told her she is sadly mistaken...and what if her mom did not make it to heaven??? then are all those sealed' to her going where she is??? Be very careful of M false doctrine, your soul and eternity depend on it!! EASTER BLESSING TO YOU AND YOURS

  • @TheTaminski I'm Aware Of This. It's Conditional On Our Obedience, As You Have Given Example. But I Do Plan On Being There. Thank You For Your Concern. And You Have A Happy Easter, Too. <333

  • @watda411 AWESOME....THANK YOU

  • @TheTaminski YOU Rock Taminski, you are dead-on right. Arrrgghh, false teachings everywhere.....

  • Sure I will pray for you I always do for the new to the faith.

  • I am still really new to this christian because i accepted him few month ago during camp challenge.

Can Somebody please pray for me though? it would really help me :)

  • I'll pray for you! Welcome to the family, by the way. I hope you are in a good church, and getting to have fellowship with other Christians on a regular basis. God intends for us to give and receive strength from our brethren in the Lord. When we become Christians, our lives don't become instantly easy. But we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. You trusted Him for salvation, now trust Him to lead you, and to help you live life as more than a conqueror. He'll provide!

  • @trustingmygod@

    Thank you :).

  • I have your back you will be in my prayers my brother in Christ.

  • You've got my prayers aswell.

  • @charizard8989 sweet you will have a great life knowing the lord.... trust me....it is wonderful

  • You mean you repented and believed and then HE accepted you. You don't accept him, he accepted you by the blood of the lamb. To be born again means you repent of your sin and you are reconcilled back to a holy God that looks not upon your sin, but looks on the perfect work of Jesus. God bless you and may his face continue to shine upon you. You may enjoy Jan Markel of Olivetreeviews(dot) org on her radio program; Very solid teacher to hear.
