When i try to delete my messages it freezes up for hours on end and i have to restart it. this phone sucks and half the time i miss calls cuz the touchscreen lags. if ur gonna get a really good phone that never has problems from verizon wait till feb. 10th when the iphone comes. I miss my LG Voyager.

This is a terrible, terrible phone. The battery life sucks, the touch screen is difficult, it freezes and lags, and just today it crashed and deleted all my stuff. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE! It seems great at first but then it becomes terrible

i have the Eris.. i think its the best phone ive had, def way better than the Moto Droid, i had that phone before the Eris and i as soon as the Eris came out i switched lol

Is the touch screen heat activated like iphone/ipod or is it just touch? I have long nails and i like to use them to type on my Voyager top screen, but with my ipod touch its harder to type because i can't use my nails :/

yes the screen is a compacited touch screen meaning that it only recognizes ur fingers, or compacited pens. so unfortunately it wont recognize ur nails

yes, its like the iphone. capacitive touch screens like the eris's rely on heat, whereas the less responsive resistive touch screens rely on pressure

Tried Moto Droid and HTC Eris. Lots of things I didn't like about the Moto Droid. The size was too big, too clunky feeling. Also, the slide out keyboard is not very good and only adds thickness and weight. Eris looks and feels so much nicer. It runs an older Android version but will be updated soon. Best part is, it is half the price.
