@the0918ronniechris i was driving an all motor honda civic hatch it was running 12.102 seconds i got an offer i couldnt refuse a guys from the states bought it from me an the following month he blew it up on the drag strip he asked me to rebuild the engine for him i did but its not running the same time its running 13.687seconds for some reason on the quarter mile now hes using nos to run 12/11 seconds

@the0918ronniechris 566.2hp to the wheel and alote of carbon fiber (the hood,doors,trunk) i also used plastic windows i gutted the car completley and all i did with the exhaust is cut it an run the 4 pipes straight down i used the honda CRV bottom block with the B18 top i used a limited hear box shorter gears quicker down the quater mile i also tweaked the chip in the car removed the limiter also. i ran the gas richer with a lil alcohol :) i know it should be running faster but i wasnt

u can use the gear box of a diesel engine ...is stronger and i think u can reach 280-300 kph

u in trouble it is not recommended to turbo or supercharge the 4age

i i were you i would sell it and get a 4agze it comes with a supercharger and it was built to handle boost.

4age are built to be great n/a engines.

u got that right i've got a friend who has two cars one a corolla wagon and a 4wd corolla both 89 models the wagon has two 1800 blacktop crossbreeds in it and the 4wd has one of the same engines all each pushing a restricted 400hp and 400ft and the internals aren't forged 4age is one of the wickedest engines out there.

and you can virtually turbo any engine as long as you give it a re-build and some tlc, they just can't handle big ammounts of boost. i've NEVER heard of a 4age 'give up' while it's had a reasonable amount of boost running through it.

it's when you put a shitload of boost through an un-prepared engine that destroys it. to answer your question about ae86's with 4ages not having turbos.... if an ae86 runs a 4age turbo, it isn't a 4age anymore.. it's a 4agte....

yes i understand that you can turbo charge a 4age but in his case he has a 4age 20v blacktop which costs more than a 4agze but the 4agze is better bottom end and comes with a supercharger already on it plus you can twin-charge. in his case he wants more hp so why blow big money on making a 4age to produce 250 hp just get a 4agze and rebuild and twin-charge the engine and youd be producing 3250 or more and also he has a UNIQUE engine. Well that's what i would do in his case.
