If you're someone who was experiencing chops while running the 8-round Clips, even though the rest of your marker was updated (11,000+ serial numbers?), contact Tippmann for some of the new 7-round TruFeed (straight feed) clips. Much more reliable, lower tension spring, completely turned my opinion of the TPX around. Was throughly impressed with the TruFeed mags.

@zakksmack69 as a side arm, id use the tiberius arms, i just ordered 2 tpx pistols and will akimbo them for my mains. the reasons are that they separate the co2 from the mag so its easier to keep track of how much air you have left and easier for reloading and i can buy a different bore size barrel for the tpx. and the magazines are half the price of the tiberius arms one. but the 8.1 has the ability to shoot first strike rounds so it'd be a better last resort gun. both are amazing guns.

@TheNewNitrok7 hey man. they run off of 12 gram CO2 cartridges. they are not refillable. i get mine from wal mart. they are about $13 for 25. And as for your first marker... it depends on what you play, and how good your skills are. if you play against other people with pistols, i would say go for it, or if your just amazing! but if your playing against players with full guns, i would probably say go with a 98, alpha, or even an X7. thats just my thoughts! Enjoy!!
i normally play at a huge forrest with lots of snipers so ill probably go for the us army project salvo cause it looks awesome and the thing it they give out free co2 from tanks but not in cartriges :p
My only critism is... the trigger pull to cock the co2 seems like a bad idea, it should be a side trigger like on a real gun such as a glock to load the first round sortof... though it's still pretty gd

This was a really hard choice for me, and I had to think a lot. But I went with the t8 and I love it. Pistols are the bomb. You are so much more agile and maneuverable and your profile is so much smaller. So get whichever pistol you want and you will love it. Just make sure you buy lots of magazines. People will tell you 2 pistols is awesome, but trust me, 1 pistol with a ton of magazines is much better.
when I got my TPX out in the field the first time it chopped paint like madness.. after extensive cleaning and relubing everything with a very thin gunoil its a pleasure to shoot with it ^^ Love that " little" bugger

Try your crappy TPX for a month then tell us about how crap it is. After playing over 100hrs with my T8, i can tell you Tiberius is way better than TPX.
To finish, learn to change your CO2 in your T8 without breaking your orings. Since 2 years i only changed one oring yet.

Yes, each gun in the vid (TPX and the TIBERIUS ARMS T8 or 9 or whatever) both shoot standard .68 caliber paintballs rather than those Kingman Training guns which use .43 caliber. .68 caliber is the standard paintball and it what is accepted at basically every paintball feild in existance. .43 caliber only at some places. So for pistols you want the TPX or Tiberius arms t8-9

@machinniamma the price is about 220 but you can go on e-bay and get it for a little less or they could throw some stuff in like extra clips but the clips are about 30 for a 2 pack compaired to a tac 8 clips that are around 80 for one

had the t68 pistol. loved the weight and feel of the pistol grip. sold it for the tpx (stupid of me). tpx not my thing. way to much plastic and bulky for the price. sold that for a .43 cal walther p99 pistol for the realism. still need to test it on the field.
Used two TPX pistols with remote lines on compressed air tanks. Used at FIGHTERTOWN, Suprise, Az. during Red vs Blue Scenario game. Great fun. Badass for trench crawling and close up and personal house to house, room to room gunfights. Pretty fun running thru the rooms and greasing tac-vest faggots trying to get their Markers up in time. Almost as fun greasing them with my EGO.
with out knowing the accuracy or wieght, I like how tippmann did the under barrel co2. I held a tac 8 and the grip for me was little to large. would like to see a TPX in person though.

I think you may have actually been a small bit biased in this video, contrary to what the description indicates. By how excited you were by the gun, and how, as you stated, it was your first time firing the marker, I think the scales may have been unset. Possibly re-reviewing the TPX now would be a good idea, as everyone wants to know if it's better than the Tac 8. Perhaps if the new gun scent had worn off, the review would be more fair.Although you were trying to be even, I think you were off.

TPX > Tac 8... I have never owned a TPX, but I have owned a Tac 8. The Tac 8's clips were so heavy they were very cumbersome to carry a few of them. The lighter design of the TPX (and obviously better functionality) makes the TPX a good product.

yeah, i have mine and it works beautifully except it needs good paintballs and to load the c02 cap properly you need to push really hard

umm you forgot one thing theTPX is big most full grown men arnt going to have a problem but my g/f doesnt like the grip becouse her fingers are too small and it seems like it would be the same with someone around 12-18

@machinniamma the price is about 220 but you can go on e-bay and get it for a little less or they could throw some stuff in like extra clips but the clips are about 30 for a 2 pack compaired to a tac 8 clips that are around 80 for one

had the t68 pistol. loved the weight and feel of the pistol grip. sold it for the tpx (stupid of me). tpx not my thing. way to much plastic and bulky for the price. sold that for a .43 cal walther p99 pistol for the realism. still need to test it on the field.

Used two TPX pistols with remote lines on compressed air tanks. Used at FIGHTERTOWN, Suprise, Az. during Red vs Blue Scenario game. Great fun. Badass for trench crawling and close up and personal house to house, room to room gunfights. Pretty fun running thru the rooms and greasing tac-vest faggots trying to get their Markers up in time. Almost as fun greasing them with my EGO.

with out knowing the accuracy or wieght, I like how tippmann did the under barrel co2. I held a tac 8 and the grip for me was little to large. would like to see a TPX in person though.

I think you may have actually been a small bit biased in this video, contrary to what the description indicates. By how excited you were by the gun, and how, as you stated, it was your first time firing the marker, I think the scales may have been unset. Possibly re-reviewing the TPX now would be a good idea, as everyone wants to know if it's better than the Tac 8. Perhaps if the new gun scent had worn off, the review would be more fair.Although you were trying to be even, I think you were off.

TPX > Tac 8... I have never owned a TPX, but I have owned a Tac 8. The Tac 8's clips were so heavy they were very cumbersome to carry a few of them. The lighter design of the TPX (and obviously better functionality) makes the TPX a good product.

if you guys have a stock a5 barrel, it works and looks really kool but but may lose velocity and i may break depending what balls you use
RECOMENDATION: find a barrel without air pockets= hammerhead barrel
