  • If you look into his eyes you can see he is slowly getting closer.

  • Bioshock song. Epic game

  • It's an ugly zombie

  • Love the song, but the dude really creeped me out (I guess he's there in reference to the Devil, who turns up in the song).

  • Picture moves man

  • Can someone tell me wat this songs about

    I just don't understand it

    But it sounds awsome

  • @vestolorde1

I think it´s based on a spiritial song from the south. I´m not sure but it sounds like a song black folks would sing at pentacostal churches.

  • zetaro128 its from a book about a dude who thought he was a vampire

  • he's a GHOUL for atom's sake! relax you bigots!

  • aaaaaaaaahahhaha.. that's from SCARY STORIES!

    YES!!!

  • "Hello, Satan. How you feel?" Nice.

  • That image is almost as bad as the mother in law :-)

  • We are kinda hipsters.....

  • i agree, wtf is this freaky image! zombie meets boswell sisters?

  • @comopajamas

The image is an illustration from a book called Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark by Alvin Schwartz.

  • @comopajamas

    Clearly not, ya dim.

  • Great image.

  • I love 30s music for the very reason it works BEST in horror movies.... imean seriously just take a scene from some horror movie, add the music in your head and its like OMG WTF

  • @tylerhaunted this is a 60s music*

  • @Andy40004 - lol no it isn't. This is the definition of early 30s music.

  • Heard this performed on Prairie Home Companion performed by a more recent group. I like both versions equally.

Also, isn't that picture from Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark?

  • ahahahah... Stephen Gammell's art somehow goes perfectly with this song XD

  • One thing that is really scary about this is that if someone told me it was made yesterday, I would believe it -- it doesn't SOUND "old". In fact, there is a certain power and spontaneity in it that nothing even in the 'rock era' can match.

  • aahahahah, i find this image is hilarious. the uploader- werent you on gaia a long while ago? if you were, (i can't remember the name) this is how i found out about the boswell sisters. i love them, thanks. :)

  • @lucitetokki Yeah, I was. This is my old YT account, though. My name on Gaia now is HUMBUGGERY HERE.

  • this is the ultimate bioshock song i mean if it was like this song when you were fighting something it would be reasly funny like owning people to a nice little tune lol

  • Like many pieces of music, this is even better appreciated after several hearings than it is the first time. The song itself and the beautifully consistent intonations of the close harmony are truly a pleasure to hear. Another reason the music is better appreciated after several hearings is that it's kind of difficult to get past that gruesome picture. It's definitely not good to stare at that picture too long...

  • He keeps getting closer o.O

  • dude great horror music!!!

  • picture totally fits

  • I like that picture who made it?

  • I used to have that book that the pic is from!

  • @DazzleDash same here is'nt it an urban legend book ?

  • The ghoul picture seems appropriate to me. New Orleans spirituals are a macabre marriage of real horror, fear and folklore, that fits right in with our fascination with the real elemental battles being fought down there.

  • love this type of music :)

i agree the image is creepy, fullscreen the video and look at it :O

  • Why the creepy "Scary Stories To Tell in The Dark" graphic? God, even at 24 those pictures still creep me out.

  • Boswell Sisters-Shout Sister Shout-Brunswick-6109-1931

  • Very neat and creepy toned song. I still love their 42nd street tune better.

  • Is that the scary stories to tell in the dark illustrator? Love the Boswell sisters... Fear the pic.

  • It's an artist by the name of Stephen Gammell m'buys er wha!

  • this arrangement is beautiful- those girls sang like angels- i'm a convert now-

  • love this and the drawing

  • I like that,but that picture..hitler like isn't it?

  • lol I love this! and that creepy picture fits well with the melodies, haha

  • love the song, but the picture scares the hell out of me XD haha

  • i love show tunes and blues

  • Is that image from the 'Scary Stories' books? Illustration style looks very similar...

  • I saw that devil last week in New Orleans! I shoulda shouted.

  • I'm guessing the devil connects with the picture? That pic is weird in a major way tho. lol

  • The song is really good but with that picture its so scary XDD

  • I love this, all their music.

  • What the hell is up with that image?!

  • It's the devil!

  • @zetaro128

    Shout,mate,shout! :D

  • @zetaro128 this is what happens when you bathe in acid XD

  • @zetaro128 Its an illustration from the scary stories to tell in the dark books! : )

  • @zetaro128 LOL agreed

  • @zetaro128 It's one of the illustrations for the "children's" book series Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, drawn by Stephen Gammell. I honestly have no idea what the fuck they were thinking in making them so goddamn scary for a book intended adolescent children such as myself when it came out.
