@zarehara Is isnt haraam to wear makeup. Just don't wear too much and use too much colors that would attract a lot of attention. A lot of muslim women get their eyebrows done which is haram because we arent supposed to clip or re-shape them. So basically just make sure you arent doing anything that is forbidden when "decorating" your face.

@KalpanaJi20 Gosh, stop saying stuff you have no idea about. In the Quran, Allah s.w.t specifically tells women to cover themselves and to not display themselves. And it is in hadith as well. It is fard and its our duty as women to cover and to wear the hijab. Women of course can choose not to listen, but they will have to answer to Allah for disobeying. Dressing modestly is for our own protection.

I am a Muslim at heart, it's part of my spiritual repertoire. I do think that some fashion and some makeup would be ok, I just think it should be up to the person to decide if they do wear hijab, that they decide if they want to show a little hair or wear a little makeup. I'm sorry but I believe that God is transcendental and not arbitrary. To me, I don't think he cares if a woman wears make up or not.
