Ok, I did everything as mentioned in the visual/tutorial. My raw footage was 1440w by 1080h @ 25fps, after I encode the video at 1280w x 720h @ 25fps .... the file size remains the same! :/
Raw footage (1080p) file size was equal to Rendered footage (720p) -- I didn't get this! how is it possible? :(
Hi, can you help me? When I use Media Encoder, it adds unwanted black borders at top and bottom. I already added them to left and right, but it adds them anyway, and my videos have all 4 borders.
@mulraf Media Encoder is better for rendering than in After Effects, because it was created solely for it. Plus you can continue to work in AE while rendering in Encoder.
If you are a perfectionist like me and don't mind the long wait times, there may be an even better way - x.264 lossless. Of course, instead of, for instance, 1GB, the file may end up about 10GB but you can use the Java uploader. If you upload a lossy video, YouTube's re-encoding will add another round of compression artifacts, whereas with lossless uploads, it has to happen only once.
I'm encoding a 3 min. vid as well and its taking me about 1 hour. All i did was editing and some trasitions. Did you do anything different? Like special effects ?
nice song ;)

@izvarzone can i import a AE komposition or do i have to render it as something like avi first ?
mulraf 9 months ago
@mulraf yes you can put .aep file directly to Encoder and then render as to format you want.

@holly69yes u got a bad computer..
rtfmone 1 year ago
@holly69yes are you rendering AE file or video file? If aep, then it depends how much [costly] effects you used.
Also what PC do you have?
