That sounds great, mhoover! As far as I remembered, we were somewhat close to the middle of the deck. And yes, our cabin had the ocean view with balcony. Hope you and your wife will have a wonderful time, because we did!

Hi There Diva, My wife and I are going to sail on the freedom of the seas. There seems to be a lot of rooms to choose from. Was your room near the middle of the deck or more towards the front or back?The room brochure looks just like your room and I just want to make sure it's the same. Is it an ocean view with balcony? oh ok, just wondering, i have been on several RC cruises, we are going on Freedom in december. Will be our first balcony stateroom. How was it? I heard the balcony is the best room to have other than a suite.

I've been on a Royal Caribbean cruisq and loved it. It was on Monarch of the Seas when she was in Los Angeles. She was the best first cruise. I had an oceanview cabin and it was perfect. I didn't need a balcony. =]
